How good is our scouting network? (1 Viewer)

I know we have a good academy scouting network but does the club have a scouting system? We seem to be waiting for players who haven't made it at championship level, but do we have a system where we bring in young talented non-league players?
Years ago we brought in some really good lads from non-league clubs but as far as I know we don't have scouts going to non-league matches. We were a Div 1 club but we still brought in Paul Culpin so how about giving Moult a trial.
I love watching non-league footie and some of the lads could easily give it a go at a higher level.

think of how little you would have to pay seven year olds,............... but ya know c'mmom get behind the lads they can do it if we just all get behind them.

One of from March 2013, about former players in the CCFPA who are doing scouting work for us

The other is Pressley, saying when he came in there was virtually no scouting network in place and only one scout at the club. Now we have a scout in Scotland, midlands, south, north west and north east of the country.

Also says in his time there have been a lot of poor signings, partly due to having a poor scouting network.

Well I guess the FPA link is no longer? Didn't they cut ties following the move to Northampton?
