This is Coventry City so we will have to take it to the last match.

If we do I fear for us.

With have a worrying habit of failing to turn up for big games (Charlton (Championship), Crewe (JPT), Bristol City (Championship) etc. etc. etc.

We need to be safe before Crawley I think. Certainly in the worst case scenario, only needing a draw in that last game. If we need to win I can see us failing.

To coin an old football phrase win your home games you stop up, but there lies the problem ! Maybe winning just two especially against Colchester and Crewe and another point or two might be enough. Going to be tight though.

Would take something remarkable to save them I think. Yeovil that is.

I still reckon they are both going down.

Looking at today and Monday games I just can't work out best sequence of results - other than us beating NC which would make life a lot simpler.

Not that bothered by Colchester and Yeovil as I think they are gone, keeps Port Vale in it as well as they are losing to Colchester.

Crewe - Crawley draw
Walsall - County draw

Would be happy with those two results, would be nice if Peterborough could score

That's still fine.

Obviously the key games today are Walsall v Notts County and Crewe v Crawley.

2 draws there won't do us too much harm at all.

Port vale losing to Colchester would be better for us from a relegation competition pov.

Might help keep their heads down for Monday, as well!

If Colchester win their game in hand they are 2 behind us. I know its a big IF, but still wouldnt say they are gone just yet

There game in hand vs Swindon, sure it winnable but unlikely. They will go down, I'm sure of it.

Would we not be better with Crewe winning? Would make it much more difficult for Crawley to beat us.

Yea Crewe winning would be ok as well, but a draw is decent as well. Don't really want Crawley or Notts County to win.

Angers me even more that we lost to Vale, they're a dreadful side.

Well, all over and it could have been a lot worse.

Nice to keep Notts County behind us for Monday.

It was pretty damn bad, of the 5 teams (that played today) we are competing with to stay up 2 won and 3 drew. Sure Yeovil lost but that was mostly irrelevant already. while it could have been worse it was alot worse than you'd expect on average.

Looking at how its going to pan out, we need two wins and a draw from our final 6 games to stay up.

No not really considering the fixtures as 6 of the teams who are still in danger were playing each other

It's also not just the results, it's the standings in the league after today's games and looking at the table that doesn't at all look too bad for us I would say.

Of the 4 games we really cared about 2 were worst case scenarios, 1 was an average scenario and one you can argue was the average result or can argue it was the best result.

The fact that we'd have been absolutely delighted with 4 teams all playing higher placed teams losing and none of them did is pretty bad news imo.

Don't agree.

Crew and Crawley, and Walsall and Notts each sharing a point was the best result for us. And Vale losing keeps them in contention, whilst Colchester still have to get those 3 points with their game in hand. The only downer was Scunny winning.
