Just reading the telegraph and seen that we are the longest standing club in the championship with 11 seasons! Not good!

To put a nicer spin on it, a number of the teams who've been in the Championship fewer seasons than us have spent them in the third and fourth tiers. Could be worse.

Sheff Wed/Utd, Carlisle, Charlton, Oldham, Bradford and Luton have all been in the top tier and now in lower leagues that us. Luton the conference!! Brighton, Southampton just come back up. Look at Notts Country founding members, Forest European Champs, now no better that us. Even out six fingered friends went to Div 1. It's not that bad really, it could have been so much worst

I'd rather live in the Championship than bungee from League 1 to 2 to 1 to the Championship and back to wherever the randomness of football takes us again.

The Championship is a cracking league. Full of hungry players that can play spells of good football. Plus, in hard money times on a purely selfish side of things I'd rather watch 23 games than 19 for the same amount of money

Apparently we are also the only team in the league never to be involved in the playoffs!

I love this league nothing is predictable except that is unpredictable anyone can go up or get relegated no matter who they are

Aren't we the only team in the entire football league that hasn't has a top 6 finish in the last 42 years as well?

Yes I beleive this is correct.....saddest thing is except for the first year we got relegated and bottled it at home to Millwall when we should have gone sixth with 5 games to go we havent even been close. People go on about the year we came 8th but we were miles behind 6th
