When the rest of the league will be? Barnsley are the other team without a game.

Next Saturday we'll play Shrewsbury with a game in hand over the other 22 teams...

Any reason why?

Probably a tea party at the Ricoh which takes priority

Are Wasps back? Because I generally don't know f-all when their season starts or pre-season, or whatever it is they do.

No reason given, must be another event at the Ricoh that night I would have thought. Don't know what it is.

Bit of a random change, guess there must be something on at the Ricoh but they don't have anything listed.

the hospitality suites are booked up by wasps = so if we played we would not be able to sell any hospitality - hence they moved the fixture

If we could win on saturday - bar Rochdale getting back to back wins - we would retain at least 4th place with
a) A game in hand
b) our next fixtures being Shrewsbury and Blackpool at home and Fleetwood away

Which could put us in a very strong position if we could take another 5 or 6 points from those games

so the game in hand may be a bonus

I agree that the game in hand could be useful and gives us a break the others won't have had.

No they both fully support the football club, we are lucky they are watching our backs.

Bloody glad me - as I am occasionally away Tuesday nights and they have moved to one I am here - used not to be bothered about missing a match as the offering was dire but now I try not to miss any
