take the 10 to 1 at derby to win 2-1, that is a value bet

I read that as "goal meerkats". Squirrel down the wing, meerkat in the middle maybe? :thinking about:

Our results are getting better, we are at home, we have played well without scoring and have now signed a striker. I fancy us to win.

i fancy us to win at the weekend but then again i always do - not sure what formula they've used to get those odds but you'd have to assume it's based more on past meetings than current form

Nope it was Leicester. I said "Sign him up!" but Ken reckons he was asking for 2 bags of nuts a week and we can only stretch to one.

Thorn was keen as we lack width and pace, but there were concerns expressed that the new signing may have spent much of his time climbing Clive Platt

the odds are better with will hill online .. than going into the shops, the highest price you can get is 100-1any score in the shops, last week i did man city 5-1 and got 150-1 and the 8 -2 score last week was 500-1 ... so if you fancy a big score make sure yo back it online

We can score. We have Cody now :guitar2:

I seem to remember a certain boyhood hero of mine make his debut against Derby

Surely Derby have to be hot favourites? They've lost 1 and won 4 haven't they? 3rd plays 2nd bottom-should be no contest, on paper at least. Derby look like a different team this season-it's amazing what getting rid of Robbie Savage can do for a teams confidence!

Unless it turns out that we've signed the next Kevin Phillips or Ian Wright and not the next Andy Morrell or Paul Culpin...I'll be happy with a point. The problem being that from our present perspective, anything bar defeat feels like a good result, whoever we're playing. Such lofty pretensions will be shown in the light of reality come May, as not many sides stay up with only draws !
