There are many intelligent people on this board so lets put our heads together and suggest some ways in which this unholy mess can be resolved? For my part how about ACL agree a rent free period with all ticket and parking revenue and with ACL getting the F&B sales. We have to accept that both companies are in this to make a profit and to deny the other of income streams is stupid.

Hoffman offered for 3 years
but TF said Hoff wanted the money back (SISU could only keep any ticket sales above that)
Got a bit bored of the logic(or lack of) thereafter (although I think SISU just hope ACL go t*ts up)

As the saying goes - 'where there is a will, there's a way'. But whilst there isn't................

Ok, here's a suggestion.....to try to bridge the gap and start some form of trust between parties.......and to help demonstrate the potential support that is being lost....

For one game only - The Ricoh is used to stage an important match; it could be a cup tie or a big league game. For our part, ie the fans, we commit to putting aside our differences in a bid to show Sisu what they are missing, and we turn out in force. ACL do the game for free, Sisu offer very reduced prices such as £5 to £10 per head, and compass agree to some form of F&B share to compensate.

As I say, one match only, to make them all think....and it is up to us to turn out in numbers- get the City behind the City !

Lets hope ccfc draw some crappy lower div team, who can be persuaded to rent the Ricoh as their home ground for a guaranteed 12k attendance instead of less at their home ground. The other team's fans might not like it, or then again could show solidarity with ccfc and give their side a bit of an earner.

There is no trust between the 2 parties. And relationships are built on trust.

There is no fix, there is no chance of repairing this mess.

Its like a divorce :
Mum (SISU)
Dad (ACL)
Kids(CCFC fans)

No winners, here just fans losing out.

Nothing will be resolved whilst litigious proceedings are still active, people from the council/acl side started to make some noise when the judicial review was thrown out by the judge (they never expected an appeal) but when SISU appealed the talk and flow of communication stopped. Basically, they are all in fear of saying the wrong thing and undermining their case.

will coventry city fans ever come to realise that ACL and SISU are never going to re-unite , the sky blues will never ever play at the ricoh again unless there are new owners that own the football club and the ricoh which is not going to happen anytime soon.

Fuck both SISU and ACL off for good. Result. That's the only way it'll work. Somehow we need to get rid of them both.

Wow!....why did no one think of this before, just 'fuck them off' problem solved. I have been stressing like mad about a resolution to this complex, litigious business conflict, however........fuck them off!...perfect. I feel a right twit.

Unfortunately I think ACL will need to enter advanced negotiations with another sporting team. Within the next 6 months.

Even if it is one that can just allow them to break even.

At this stage SISU will do one of two things

Buy ACL at their true market Value
Or
Sell CCFC at a below market value price to someone who will do business within ACL

I think that is it for a short term resolution.

Long term SISU wait 3-5 years hoping ACL will be handed over to them

Actually this is a big step forward for Torch he wants both gone as oppose to just ACL.

Don't ridicule this step in the right direction.

Ahhhh...I agree, the 'fuck them off' method is so revolutionary that it could handle more than one entity at a time.
