What's going on boys?,when i used to follow the city we used to fight the opposition fans, now it seems you're all slapping each other around the chops with hot dogs,i hope the team has as much fight in them this year, when i get home i'm gonna rebuild Highfield Road and sort you all out!

I'm a vegetarian, so I'll have you know that I slap people round the chops with a lentil and kidney bean burger, not a hot dog!!

Don't tar us all with the same brush!!!

Funny thing is more often or not I seem to remember the city lot running in the opposite direction

I remember it well. They were what are our modern day keyboard warriors were. Mainly mouthy 18 year olds giving grief to opposing supporters, then making Bolt look slow when trouble started. The trouble THEY had caused. This left the rest of us having to deal with their actions.I suppose they then went back to their mates to let them know how big they are.

Now they have keyboards to help them with their fantasies it hardly happens anymore.

I remember a comical moment in the kop when Newcastle were down. This must be a good 20 plus years ago. There were about 50 youths given the Newcastle fans a load of abuse and beckoning at them. Suddenly no more than 6 Newcastle fans starting scaling that huge fence that seperated the home fans from the away lot. They would never have made it over yet I was nearly crushed in the stampede of the city fans legging it!

When i have returned with my mining millions and rebuilt Highfield Road, you can all name a stand after me,i can see it now,"The Pyeman Stand" where the Kop used to be,forget the Chinaman,it's the Pyeman who will bring back the good times of battling to stay in the top flight, and having to win the last 3 games to stay up,would beat going to places like Yeovil wouldn't it ?,where the fuck is Yeovil anyway?

Saw similar myself.

Remember another time, can't remember who for sure, but think it was WHU. About 20 of them ran at 4 away supporters. One of them shouted something like 'come on then' They suddenly turned and ran away, but ran into a few other away fans. Some of them learned a lesson that day. Would normally help any Cov fan in distress, but they deserved everything they got.

Yeovil? The one good thing about this season is we are getting to meet proper football fans. You know, the ones that love their football. The fans who don't think their club deserves to be playing at a higher level. Fans that happily drink with opponents supporters. The total opposite to a lot of our own supporters.

I am not too sure what is causing the major divide. I guess everybody is so annoyed at the situation they just go on the rampage.

Although I don't see what insulting fellow supports will achieve.

Nick, I think you should re-read the original post. The tool obviously thinks physical violence is still the norm between football fans these days. He obviously thinks he's a hard man of sorts.

You couldn't be further from the truth if you tried. Try and find anyone that agrees with your view.

There are also some things not funny. Football violence when there is no clue you are trying to be funny is one of them.

I think you have all missed the point here, i personally do not think the OP is asking us to actually fight or encouraging the return to the "70"'s or "80"'s i just think he is talking about the slagging off and bitching that goes on between us all at the moment. He may have failed to explain his point but i am sure if you look at it that is all he is saying. Thats how i view it anyhow
