Not wanting to raise any hopes but my own theory says that the football league will bow to pressure and stop this insane idea of ground sharing due to the amount of publicity and backing by well known ex players and influential people and the moral issues surrounding the travelling etc.
I maybe on my own with this theory but the expected announcement did not come today and this could well be the FL looking at there legal position

It's been discussed on talksport today. A lot of media are picking up on our plight (not always correct in what they report) but it is down the tweeting, emailing and calling to raise the exposure of the issue to the national level that they are now taking note.

Carry on people!!!

I would be very shocked and stunned if the FL rejected SISU and forced Appleton to put the club up for sale,,they have no nuts or power to stop this. We in my opinion are being let down in every possible way by the people who are supposed to protect the game and its standing within the community..

Sisu have made it clear they don't want a connection to the city or its fans and have done almost everything to cut ties, this is a franchise and they are going about there business without emotion. Which in truth is what they have set out to do since the Ricoh was not going to be an option due to bad management and an obvious ploy to sink ACL...

FL have the power as they may not want to award the golden share to SISU in these circumstances- Also northampton chairman is reported today as saying this deal is 'a long way off' and also says the final the decision lies with the FL- think everyone is jumping the gun hope i am right

If nothing else I suspect the FL will be feeling the pressure. If they don't have an absolutely rock-solid plan from SISU, they're going to get some serious heat if they make the wrong call.

I suspect this will drag out a while yet...
