Yep couldn't here anything they said ...which was good because they normally talk a load of shite

I hardly understood a word from the PA system, part of it was the volume of the crowd though but yeah it was shit too.

I didn't put any of it down to the crowd (not a criticism of the atmosphere). Just thought it sounded like a surround sound / stereo does if all the plugs aren't in correctly, and sound only comes out on one side! And very muffled.
