We have now played at St Andrew's for approx 3 months and whilst it wasn't too bad when we were winning regularly at the start, the move is starting to bite with me as a pain in the backside making the journey effort to attend and although I will see out the season this will be my last if we don't go back to our city -tonights attendance will be probably a record of non -atendance
Attendances will not increase no matter what the hopefuls think, my estimates maybe not exactly accurate but CCFC attendances are set on approx average 6,000 fans from approx 12,500 last season and Wasps are down it looks to about just over 10,000 from at times 20,000+ even touching 30,000+ last season - doesn't take a clever person to understand, that none of this is doing either club any good

Both clubs know this - see the other threads, until that indemnity clause is removed it’s St Andrews for the foreseeable future

Attendances include Accrington, Fleetwood and Wimbledon. Next is Rochdale. When Ipswich, Sunderland and the like turn up attendances will climb a bit. Yes it's a ball ache, but we need to keep our club alive. On the plus side, the footie is much better quality than last season, and in January we're going to have a striker revamp!

And fair play and hats to all who think that way and attend. But the bottom dollar is it’s not you, I or anyone else who should be put in that position by the powers that be and the fans (whatever your view or who you feel is responsible) should not be made to feel accountable.

He’s not consistent enough mate game by passes him by most weeks he done well once bright was here last season laying balls on a plate week in week out do well to get 500k for both and re invest in something better to play with Godden...Jayden Stockley would be by target

Stockley played the whole game for Preston against Charlton on Sunday where they went top of the league

Number one target for me would be Rose from Mansfield, could get him cheap too as hes out of contract in summer

Not prolific enough for me mate we need better if we’re gonna make a promotion charge I feel not gonna be easy to find & I hope we don’t gamble on more players like Baka etc

I think he means fans can’t be blamed for the club going under, if it happened. I’m sure people would be quick to blame us but, in general, liability wouldn’t be on fans.

Well it's ridiculous...

If people don't want to go because they can't, or the extra logistics make it harder for them, fair enough.

Don't buy the ethical boycott though because "we should be in Coventry"....what do people actually want the club to do?

I don’t think anyone wants them to just accept Wasps extortionate terms. It’s been a few months now and I don’t think anything progressive has been said by the club about returning to the Ricoh or that make believe new ground. But I believe if some substantial evidence came from the club (or owners) that genuine effort was being made, then you’d see a significant rise in support.

People doing NOPM can. The ones who are vocally boycotting in hope of killing the club to rid us of SISU and build a Phoenix club to play at the Ricoh with w**ps.

If every Brighton fan had your view in their exile period the club would be long dead - you realise and agree I assume?

As far as I know the circumstances at BHAFC were completely different to ours. The majority shareholder implemented the sale of the ground and the board went with it.

Now, why shouldn’t people want transparency and plans? What would your thoughts be if we’re at SA next season?

Gates weren't great in Gillingham. They needed to come back, even to a temporary stadium.

I would keep going as with wasps financial turmoil keeping the club afloat is vital

They did, and there weren't many of them! It was encouraged by an active attempt by the club to get back where it belonged, too.

You've said yourself St Andrews is unsustainable. If the plan is to sit it out, the owners might be better off just being upfront about it. Atm there's a fear we've gone away, and there are zero efforts to get back.

Realistically I think this is the only hope of us going back to Coventry.

Either Wasps go bust, Wasps relocate elsewhere or most probably bring us back to the Ricoh which will return some capital back to them at least.

Even if we are back at the Ricoh I think Wasps will struggle to keep afloat, a few hundred grand a year won't balance the books!

It wasn’t really in SISUs remit to gift them the Ricoh - that would be the council who sold it on the cheap with an extended 250 year lease
