5,500 selling today isn't bad going.

That font messes with my OCD for alignment though,

OCD or not, it's just f*cking awful. Feels like they've handed graphic design work to a kid for the summer.

I love the kit, but do you think it's sold so well because the away/third kits haven't been released yet? People aren't deciding between which kit they want and just buying what is available?

There's am element to that I'd day

But it's good work by the club, hold the away back and then when initial home sales drop in a week or so, release that.

Same again then with the 3rd

Saw someone on Twitter who’s been with his kids and said he’d spent nearly £700!
One assumes he’s bought season tickets too otherwise what the hell has he spent that on? A full kids kit is what £85?

I want to buy the Talbot shirt or Admiral shirt. I'm usually a large size but it seems like large is medium for these shirts?

I'll be doing the same when I go back to Bangkok, have a good mate Sky Blues fan since birth. Plus two Yanks who've got into the Sky Blues . One of them travelled to watch Cov v Blackburn last season and proudly wears their Cov City tee shirt around Pattaya and Hollywood.

Didn't we all know in our hearts that once the SISU vermin were replaced, the people of Coventry and Warks and beyond would rally to support our famous club once again. Great times folk, make the best of it and enjoy …..
Record ST sales
Record merchandise sales
Highest crowds for decades
Best atmosphere possibly ever.

It does remind you of just how f*cking bleak it was under SISU, and how utterly inept they were.
In 13/14, we were forcibly moved to Northampton, were we had an average gate of 2348 in tier 3 (Fisher estimated 7000+ ).
Minimal amounts of merch were sold from a bloody trestle table.
Yet last year (23/24), 10 years later, and now in tier 2, we had an average gate of 25468 (with the highest being 30232 for the visit of Leeds).
Based on average attendances, that's 23120 fans, who SISU disenfranchised as paying customers because they had no idea how to run a football club.
Now we have an owner who actually gives a shit, and that makes a massive difference...substantial investment in the playing squad, greatly improved training facilities at Ryton, and record sales figures for merch and STs.
It has been quite an incredible journey, from the depths of tier 4, where at times we were scared of being liquidated, to now being on the cusp of the richest league in world football.
We're once again proud to talk about our club, rather than being utterly embarrassed.
So in conclusion, yes, these are good great times for the club and the city, so fill your boots and drink it in
