Nowt wrong with atmosphere, we’ll have plenty of that today. Ipswich fans will be closer.

Mad how many people left today at around the 80th minute and missed the goal.

Guess it's to beat the road closures or queues in the car park?

Yeah, unfortunately. People are leaving very early. Glad we scored late as it served them right

Also pretty mad that we had the chance to go 1 point off the play offs (realised) and a large section of our fans were more captivated by throwing a glove in the air.

Drummer and the people around him should take a bow tonight. Were relentless for most of the game, keeping chants going for ages and doing all they could. A lot of folks in the corner don't bother at all. It's getting on my tits now!

The Mason-Clark song seemed to get most of the ground going as well

The atmosphere after the goal went in with a half empty ground was the loudest it’s been all season, just had that feeling

I still don't get it. I know it's frustrating when you're trying to get home but I have accepted that comes part and parcel with football.

This means I never miss some of the sweetest (and yes, sometimes bitterest) moments in football. Why would I swap that for getting back home a little earlier?

Don't really blame people if leaving 10 minutes early could potentially save an hour or more on travel time, but seems risky when there was still everything to play for and there's been so many games in the last few seasons where we've snatched wins right at the end

If you don’t leave before the whistle you’re looking at an hour to get out of car park C.

It’s not a duty to see every second of the game. When will people get over it?

Perhaps we could get season tickets printed next season with “Elite supporter. I never leave early“ on them for those that stay until the whistle

There are many reasons why people leave a few minutes early. I’m one of them after 30+ years of staying to applaud the players, win, lose or draw. I heard the goal go in and celebrated like I was inside. All that matters to me is we won. Feeling so positive about the last part of the season - I do believe the stars are aligning and we will sneak into the play offs.

Left at 94 minutes after their sixth or seventh shithouse, time-wasting corner because I was getting the train back for the first time and didn't want to risk missing it.

These things happen, and at least a lesson was learned - plenty of time to get to the platform after 1945 kickoffs and the important thing was we got three points!

It was an unexpected explosion of joy, so late in the game - which, to be honest, had never looked like happening, so was particularly sweet. A few minutes into the second half I said to my mate that the way we/they were playing 'I'd take a point' (obviously wanted the 3). If most are honest, when they had that late flurry of corners, we were nearly all thinking 'don't lose it now' with little thought of winning it. Huge result.

Completely agree.....drummer and the area around block 15 were brilliant....even 16 were loud....13 & 14 average at best.
Half of block 14 is now secondary school age kids who were more occupied with throwing their friends hats/caps around in the 2nd half.
Singers Corner has been diluted due to a reasons combined and won't return to what it was a couple of years back. I'm in block 14 myself and was fuming with the kids fuckin about.....final nail in the coffin for us as a group as we're moving our seats next season....know a good few who are doing the same....it'll be worse next season in that area

Singers corner done their job, QPR fans done their job, just a shame we can barely hear each other. The South Stand Standers might as well just pull out their reading books and knitting needles. What a waste.

I used to agree but it’s got so bad I’ve found I’ve had to recently. I’ve got kids to get back for, work the next morning, and car park C has just been too difficult these last two seasons.

A few years back it was fine and we were regularly scoring late and I could never understand people leaving earlier.

I understand getting to an exit and running straight out at the end of the game
Leaving having travelled to the game watched 80 mins and missing some of the actual play just boggles my mind

Will this be what finally moves people over to near the away fans? If so more powered to the man bag wearing balloon sucking kids.

Few people near me left, they always do tbh and have done since before the road closures. Most of them left muttering that it was obvious QPR would get a last minute winner

I think it will sort itself out next season. I can see the South Stand being pretty full with STs if the pricing is right.
