Coventry City are the ONLY team in the top 4 divisions that remain unbeaten at home in the league.
This is a massive achievement but after the wobbles against Doncaster and Oldham can we realistically go the entire season unbeaten at the Ricoh?

If we can I think its the key to promotion or at least a play off spot.
Can anyone think of a team that remained unbeaten at home all season who didn't finish in the top 6? :thinking about:

It's a bit much to expect a full season undefeated at home...if we can minimise it to 2 or 3 defeats and start pinching wins away, we'll be ok.

Automatic promotion is preferable, and still attainable, however we all must prepare ourselves for the dreaded play-offs.

I don't see why we couldn't do it. Let's face it, we've proved we can stuff the best teams in the league on our day and the games we've drawn we've been unlucky to do so/been let down by silly mistakes.

We can, but I don't think we will.

I would be really happy though with just a couple of defeats come the end of the season. It will have been our best home return for many, many seasons I think.

Think more often than not we lose 6,7 or 8.

I think we can but need to start scoring more goals again.

The key to promotion is getting as many points as possible, which means winning as many games as possible. Remaining unbeaten at home is not something we should aim for. You get twice as many points by winning 2 and losing 1 than you do by drawing 3.

So do I.
Tbf I am always think we are going to win that is why I take it to heart when we don't.
Should know better after 40 years but hey doesn't get any easier.☺

I'm surprised and delighted the unbeaten run has lasted this long. I had an agreement with a mate of mine at the beginning of the season that we'd wear shorts to every home league game until we lost, never expected it to last this long! Could get a bit chilly soon!
