What do we think the "home", attendance will be if we start the season at Sixfields. My own estimation would be 150.

Depends in away followings, Peterborough, sheff and wolves will outnumber us.

Over 3,000 and hopefully many thousands more!w

If 3000. Go its obvious Fisher has done his job well.
However, all those who go are just adding to the long lingering death.
If only 300 turned up then the FL would have to rescind there decision

Looking at Brighton's attendance figures, as probably the closest example of what is happening to us, in their darkest hour (1997-98) they had an average attendance of 2,329 in the fourth tier. That was 9.2 per cent of their highest average attendance in the previous generation - 25,265 in 1978.

9.2 per cent is very close to the proportion of people on this site (~8%) who say they will attend matches at Northampton. Let's be generous and go with a figure of 9 per cent and apply that to our highest average attendance in the past generation 21,180 in 2006 - and that would put our average attendance at 1,906. Take away the average League 1 attendance figure last season of 542 and that leaves 1,364 as a projected average home attendance figure.

This seems to be spot on.

What kind of logic did Timmy use to get it so wrong (remember he said 7000 if team is doing well & there is no doubt it is).

Or maybe the message he gave to fans at the July forums wasn't entirely in line with SISU's calculations?

He just looks down at 7 of his sausage fingers and adds three zero's on, that's about all the buffoon is capable of.

He didnt look too concerned Saturday when I saw him. Love the attempt at humour by the way. Really sharp that one.

He's hardly going to be sitting there looking fraught with concern is he, or having a little cry by the burger van? Business men are the best bluffers in the world. Jesus Christ.

perhaps he has inner torment then. Do you think he cries inside?

1815 attendance. Take out circa 115 freebies/children leaving 1700. Season ticket holders of approximately 700, leaving 1000 . 400 away fans mainly pre bought, with perhaps another 100 home tickets pre bought, leaving about 500 paying fans, on the day.
With ticket prices being effectively half price that gives the club (on the day) match takings of circa £5,000. Would that even cover the rent? I take it Fisher has no need to employ Securicor, so at least that's one saving he can make.

bloody hell>

they took over and we were in the championship. We are now in League One, not even in Coventry, playing to less than 2,000 and losing 1-5

If he wasnt in any way concerned on Saturday, he never will be !

No attempt at humour, just stating that with a chubby fella like Fisher and the fact that he can't seem to add up, obviously uses his fingers which will be fat I'm sure. But go on, tell us exactly what his fingers do look like seeing as though he uses them to grease you up at Sixfields. Still sore are we ?

Three sisu plants have posted rubbish on this thread, in fact one of you is so dim he even posted the same quote twice.
The sooner the three of you are old enough to start school the better, you might just learn some common sense there.

"SISU plants" Bugger, you have seen through my disguise. I never wanted to be a sisu plant you know? They made me do it. They promised my own seat at Northampton and everything. Now I just feel dirty and used.
