This all reminds me of Newsnight when Labour won the election. They refused to talk with the Conservatives and Paxman and Co. had to interview one person, with the other sitting at the table patiently, before taking their turn.

No interaction allowed!

I wish they would just get them both to have a debate live. Get them both in the studio or phoned in and see what they both have to say. They will really show what is going on.

Ranson and Brody sort of did this, Ranson made Brody look a fool if I remember!

GH says everybody wants Truth, Stability and Investment.

They want as much of the stadium as possible.

He doesnt like being involved in the "silly stuff"

GH doesnt like the media.

GH said some bits of the meeting were no good, some bits were very good.

GH said everybody agreed to give a standard line to the media confirming they met and they will meet again.

GH is annoyed as KD mentioned names as they agreed confidentiality.

Early next week, there will be an improved formal offer on the table to KD and SISU.

They will also confirm they are prepared to invest for stability and success within the offer.

These people are capable of instantly buying half the stadium.

He will go to the ends of the earth to help the club!

GH doesn't give up easily.

If SISU say no, there might be a short negotiation.

It will be the quid offer you could hear it in his voice

I agree, the offer will be £1 but they will have to show exactly what they are willing to put into the club, stadium and you would assume show proof of where the funds are coming from. You still get the feeling that SISU are going to reject the bid. They sadly do not care about the club, only how much they will get from their investment.

Hoffman very angry that Ken released a statement that goes against what they had agreed in the meeting. Also Hoffman very annoyed that Ken mentioned names at the meeting and seem to suggest that they were possibly trying to sabotage the takeover.
Formal offer to be made early next week.

I don't think it is too good to be true, it is just very hard to imagine SISU are going to accept a nominal offer for a club they have alledgedy put £30m into just because they plan on buying the ground and giving AT some transfer funds. However if they do accept or, lets be realistic, enter negotiations, which in itself would be a significant advancement on the current predicament, I would be happy.

Knowing SISU, they probably realised how much the investors want the club and felt that the press release would do exactly what it has done, ensure an offer is put forward almost immediately. If they are putting £500k in each month, they won't get any more for the club in 2 months than they will right now, surely it is in their best interests to take the offer asap. I just hope negotiations begin on Monday and lead to a full takeover by the end of the week announced.

KD doesn't look too good in this does he.

Would say it was right and proper to not disclose anything after the meeting and agree on a consistent statement to the press from both parties. Have to believe this is a true representation of what was agreed to be honest. KD came out and started naming names and that is just not ethical or proper. Not totally convinced by Hoffman, but I am tending to believe his and Elliot's side of the story more here re yesterday's meeting.

I wish Linnell had asked Hoffman why a formal offer hadn't gone in previously though and it has taken so long and why it is going to be Monday of next week.

Yep and KD and Broady have constantly denied it.

The other thing that didn't ring true is about KD saying that there was no representation from any of the investors. He said no-one revealed themselves as an investor.

Not heard of asking them the question? So all these people were at the meeting and at no point did our board members ask who the people were round the table were and in what capacity they were there?

Wether Hoffman is full of rubbish or not he comes across good to us fans saying stuff like " I would go anywhere in the world to sort this out " "I don't care how much of my time it takes up" "We can purchase half the stadium very quickly"
On the other side we have Ken saying "A fans transfer fund is something we are looking at" " We are a business/need to live with in our means"
It is obvious who fans will side this as SISU and Ken has no interest in the welfare of the club or the fans opposed to Hoffman who at least gives the impression to us that he cares about the club and its fans.

The simple answer to that question is NO. This is after all Coventry City we are talking about and nothing seems to happen very quickly there

I completely agree - the outcomes of the meeting should have been kept confidential, and the statement from KD and CCFC is unprofessional. I'm not surprised the Hoff is annoyed.

I agree Otis. KD is full of hot air and no ideas. Paul clouting gone quiet since the forum. Maybe he's realised he made a tool of himself

My Dad use to work with Hoffman and even went for a curry with him before a Chelsea game many, many years ago, and says that Hoffman is an honest and decent guy who loves the club. So I doubt he is full of rubbish.

SkyBlue you are right. I was at school with Gary Hoffman. He is intelligent, serious and a nice guy. You can be sure that what he says can be trusted.

am tired of the public posturing on both sides, whether they are perceived good guys or not, whether there are discrepancies in what is said or not

bottom line is unless someone makes an offer that at least tempts SISU we are stuck where we are. Clearly £1 for the shares and a promise to repay some of loan in three years if in premiership was no where near doing that.

Do not need all these interviews and statements. For the good of the club say nothing and get the deal done if there is indeed a deal to be done

£1 is more than it is worth. If Hoffman pays millions to SISU then he will not have the cash to invest in the club. It's a fair offer, paying any more would be foolish. If SISU chooses not to take it then it is at their risk. They can continue to lose 250k per month until they lose everything.

practicalties - unless the offer is something that interests SISU then there is no deal - not a question of anyone being foolish. Good deals are where both sides feel they won something. If GH or anyone else doesnt have sufficient funds to buy the club and fund transfers AND fund future losses then they should not do the deal - that doesnt even include the shares in ACL.

They have had to budget for the losses until May 2012 anyway - if the team starts winning I wonder how that will affect passions, gates and finances .......

There ia an assumption that there are no other interested parties, that GH is the only deal - we dont actually know that. Way too much speculation being taken as fact

I thought after listening to KD's interview he and SISU are coming out of this with there reputation in tatters. KD didn't want to go to deep into who was there yesterday when Linnell interviewed him did he? The release on the CCCFC website was written by a 10 year old and everything he spouts you dont believe. I sometimes wonder If they really do have an agenda and jump from one crisis to another totally ruderless.

I mean the shite that we are talking to other interested parties....do me a favor!

I really wish they would go. There the irritant.
