He walked past me yesterday coming out of the Casino. I can't say as to whether he was or wasn't drunk as I didn't see him drinking but he certainly looked like he'd had a few and could only just hold himself up. He then climbed into his big Lexus and drove off.
I lost a lot of respect for him in that moment.
I'm not sure what the law is but I'm certain I did the wrong thing just watching him drive off. There is something unethical about that, you're right. One of those situations where you'd hope to do the right thing. On this occasion, i didn't. I must confess I'd had a few too, maybe if I was sober I would have reacted differently but I was that appalled I just did nothing.
You learn by these things.

This is silly. I know he has. Lexus. But can't accuse him of stuff we aren't sure about. He was in the casino for not very long I am told. With his elderly parents who are lovely. He talked to a mate and was completely sober and said he had missed lots of the match because he was watching his son play U10 rugby. No bar at school rugby matches I would have thought. Are you sure you hadn't just had a few and couldn't see him stand up straight!
It is illegal to drive under the influence as it affects your judgement.
Could it be as you were under the influence your judgement was affected? This I would suggest is the more likely.
Must have had a nightmare on the tables,as apparently he's another useless banker who did sweet FA while taking those top jobs
