The football was decent. There was unrest around me when a player hit a ball in the air that could have been played on the ground maybe. Although I put those 15 yard chipped passes down to bobbles. We live in a post-Pep football world now where people expect passes to be zipped with perfection and controlled perfectly. For league one our football was good yesterday.Coventry 1-1 AFC Wimbledon
Seems like we play some nice football , compared to what I remember watching us under Coleman / Boothroyd , think people need to remember where we are ....
Sign him up. He couldn't do any worse. That miss at the end
Can't help but feel mcnulty from last season puts away one or two of them chances. Towards the end of last season he had the knack of stroking the ball into the net. Looking at this season all we are really short of is a composed finisher. Pity because we wouldn't be too far away this season if we had one.

McNulty would have had a field day yesterday.
It’s unfair to keep comparing our current crop of strikers ie Chaplin.
McNulty scored goals with both feet inside and outside the area even scored fair few with his head, created goals out of nothing by himself had enough pace and could twist and turn caused havoc in penalty area.Same height as Chaplin, but made centre backs fear him as he was clever and could hold the ball up, should never have played league 2.
In Chaplins favor is the fact he’s 4 years younger than McNulty that’s a lot of experience. Here’s hoping he improves and if he becomes any thing like the player McNulty is we may have a player on our hands. But I’m afraid I don’t see it.
Sums up most of the games this season really; play good football, dominate the game, create loads of chances fail to take most of them.

No, I agree. That’s not a bad place to be at all. Much rather that than dire football and no end in sight
I wasn't commenting on the finishing as big Dave who plays for the dog and duck could have put one of them chances away.No they expect the ball to be passed straight and strikers to put away open goals and gilt edged sitters. Not too trifling for a professional.
Is he the bloke what invented the 70 second burger? If so I think I'll continue.Stop being such a jimmy rustler

SHOOOOOT
As gutting as it was to walk away from the game with the overwhelming feeling of 2 points being dropped, looking back at the highlights, all the great chances we carved out for ourselves, I do have to say I am proud of the style of play Robins is trying to instill in this team. Yes it doesn't always work and with them being so young, inconsistency is a factor in their individual performances and yes we could and should have scored a minimum of 4 goals yesterday, but 8th in League 1, I am happy with where we are at and once we start being ruthless we will batter some teams.
