Really? Huge bit of land. Wouldn't be able to have the conference hall but surely big enough for a stadium?

Railway one side, ring road the other. No chance it's big enough for a stadium and it'd be a nightmare that close to the station and a ring road junction.

The only place near town that could’ve ever been developed into a stadium was the old Rolls Royce Parkside site
