The 30th April marks 10 years since our final match at Highfield Road. So to celebrate life at the famous ld ground, Sports Lounge will be celebrating Highfield Road over the next month and we want you to get involved. Over the next 4 weeks, we'll be asking you for your memories of Highfield Road. We'll be covering favourite games and moments in the coming weeks, but lets start with Goals. What were your favourite goals at the old ground. I know at least one which will be mentioned. We'll pick out the best comments to read out on the show LIVE next Thursday

In no particular order:

1. Morrell's winner v West Ham in Davenport's last game for the club.

2. McAllister's half volley on the TV against Derby in 2002.

3. Richie Partridge against Reading in the same season (maybe the one after?).

4. Johnnie Jackson's last minute winner against WBA in 2003.

5. Whing's stunner against Derby (which I suspect a lot will include).

The Willie Carr / Ernie Hunt goal.
I was in the West Stand behind the goal and it was one of the most inventive routines I have seen. Pity the move was subsequently banned.

Froggatt against Everton in the 98/99 season. Would've knocked me out if the net hadn't been there!

Ernie Hunt curling it into the top corner over the Burnley keeper from almost the halfway line - about 1971 I think. Sheer brilliance, watched it with my Dad up in the Crow's Nest.

I was on the kop, couldn't quite believe what we'd all seen. Thank God for MOTD!
To this day you have to say that banning it was one of the most idiotic episodes from the vacuous footballing associations.

A screamer from Bobby Gould against Burnley from outside the box. It went like a bullet into the roof of the west end goal.

It was widely believed Arsenal people were there and his hat trick that day may have bumped up his transfer fee soon after!

Gudjonnson rising like a salmon to head our 4th against Preston in the Eric Black era.

Dublin's cheeky goal when Shay Given dropped the ball to take a goal kick.

Keane's 1st on his debut against Derby (was it?) was such a buzz!!

Any of Whelan's when he went through the phase of dinking the keeper.

Tony Dobson scoring from the half way line against Banik Ostrava.

This was my favourite goal too. Sometimes you think is it just yourself who saw that or thought that. Great to read that someone else felt the same. This goal came the year after Pele, Brazil and the great Mexico World Cup of 1970. In one match, Pele had taken a shot from inside his own half and just missed the goal. Earnie Hunt went one better, sailing the ball over Tony Waiters in the Burnley goal and into the net. The match wasn't on telly so only the 18,000 who were there would remember it.

I remember another mad angle one against us. It was a last minute winner for Arsenal by Merson. I think he looped it over Oggy from close to the bye-line from outside of the righthand side of the box. I think he meant it.

One of the best for us I remember was Willo's 35 yarder aginst Newcastle. Amazing goal for someone who was absolutely awful as a footballer!

A couple are; Terry Gibson curling in his hat trick goal v Liverpool in '83 (first game i really remember as a kid - school was great the next week).

Ndlovu skinning Shaun Teale before lashing it in v Villa in '91 (went mental in the lower kop as can be seen here -http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pT7heCFXqMw )

Still never quite sure if Willo's goal against Newcastle was meant as a shot. Great goal though.

Colin Stein's bullet header from a Tommy Hutch cross vs Hull City in the FA Cup in Jan 1973.

I was on the Kop aged 8, stood on a wooden stool with my Dad.

That Merson one was just a great goal. Joachim's was a result of a balls up I think.

Ndlovu against Villa in 91.

There are loads. I struggle to recall many at the Ricoh. Even in the lower leagues you'd expect to see the odd great strike, can only recall Bell and Doyle scoring real screamers. That said, Adebola vs Sheff Utd in 2006 was the result of a flowing move, brilliant team goal.

Any of David Speedie's. I don't remember him scoring ordinary goals. Some of the chips were sublime
