I was there for the Man Utd game with Huckerby scoring the winner, which is clearly near the top of the list. My first proper memory was the Middlesboro game with Speedie and Bernie Slaven (?) both getting hat-tricks- I think Speedo climbed the fencing in celebration, but the memory is hazy after all this time. The other one on my list is the Chelsea game where they wore our away strip and Frank Le Boeuf (?) spat on the shirt after the game. That joins the list because it was probably the angriest I've ever been.

Two of the three memories may be slightly muddled, but that's how I remember them!

As an aside, I seem to recall a game v Birmingham where they sang 'Will you come to St Andrews?' and I shouted 'No, because it's a massive shithole'. Oops.

2-1 Vs the villa, Keane scored and I thought the upper West end was going to collapse due to the shaking

Oddly, I didn't get to see as many Premier League games there as I wish I could have. Most of those I did go to, we were rubbish!

Obviously, the last game against Derby will stick forever in the minds of anyone who was there.

But I think the Forest game just before that also sticks. The atmosphere that night was absolutely incredible, the place just seemed something else. The team played an absolute blinder (for once!) and Adebola's goal sticks in my mind.

V Spurs Dec 1986 for the Regis header in a 4-3 win (also in that game Paul Culpan with the worst miss I think I saw at HR)

Loads mentioned but a few that haven’t.

Blackburn 5-0 with the orange ball.

A cracking game against Charlton in the cup when they came from 2-0 down to win 3-2.

Banik Ostrava in a friendly just for ‘that’ goal.

Millwall and Preston at home in the space of 4 days (I think) under Eric Black.

Keane’s debut against Derby.

Loads more....

Ferguson 4 Ipswich 0 On the scoreboard was one of my earliest memories. He was my hero as a kid.

The 4-3 vs Tottenham is up there as is then 3-2 vs Man U and 3-1? Vs Arsenal when hadji and Keane both scored. Plus the 2-1 the first time we beat the villa in my lifetime.

6.36 vs. Southampton - might have been Whelan's home debut?
Brilliant moments and memories -but can't help thinking that Noel should have had a much bigger career. We represented his peak years. He was good enough to go further after he left us.

Weren't we 4-0 up? Didn't Livingstone score 4 as well? Christ, my memory is bad. I used to know all this stuff and now I just doubt myself.

Yeah. 4-0 up before Clough hit a hat-trick before half time.

I'm glad someone else thought Livingstone hit a hat-trick because I swore that's who it was too. But every report of the match says it was Gallagher

The Boxing Day match v Norwich that ended 5-4 to us.

The West Ham League Cup semi final 1st leg

Leicester at home in the early 80s when fans kicked off on the pitch

Birmingham in FA Cup same year as WHU semi final - thousands of Blues fans on the Kop ( including one wearing a space suit!)

Wimbledon 3-3 draw

Beating Villa at home on Boxing Day thanks to Micky Quinn

The 2 opening games against Chelsea in the 90s

We’ve had a few 5-4 wins over the years anyone think of a 5-4 defeat?

Cov v southampton, April 1979, uncle took me to first ever game, smashed Southampton and was hooked on us a team and Wallace who scored 3 that day.
So many others since then but Christmas 92 was special hammering Liverpool and Villa.

I missed that Southampton game. Had to go to a wedding (Mine). If I could do it over I would have really enjoyed that Wallace Hat trick

Coventry 5-0 Luton. Won’t mean anything to anyone, but that was my first game at HR. In a different way, the arsenal game when we won 3-2. The atmosphere was unreal that night. Best I’d ever heard there.
