Just had a look at the CCFC website and a training session in particular - wow all this high intensity stuff is clearly practiced on the training pitch with a vengeance and at such a pace it reminded me of the boot camps of years ago with a nasty drill sergeant bellowing instructions at 120 decibels whilst running at the double.

Firstly there was a confined (close proximity) but progressive (movement up the pitch) stint of first and second touch passing urged on by screeching training staffs to an absolute crescendo of noise.

This was followed by non stop attacking/defending free flowing movement with the ball from one end of the pitch to the other continuous but for tackles/blocks from either side with the whole process conducted at tremendous pace and incredible intensity.

If we could remain 90 minute fit we should surely blow away the majority of the opposition and be top 6 material by x-Mas .

No wonder some of the previous squad hightailed it when the going got tough - it certainly is different.
