This isn't the end. This isn't even the beginning of the end. However, it is the end of the beginning!

Gary McSheffrey pulls of wig and mask to reveal the real Joy Seppala - "and I would have gotten away with it if it hadn't of been for you pesky meddling fans"

so other than not actually having a club the worse case scenario is relegation to league 2 and starting the league 2 campaign on a points deduction? Lots to look forward to then!

If buts and maybes? Rotherham took a massive points deduction 3 or 4 years ago. I think Rotherham, Luton and Chester all had deductions that year. Rotherham coming back now.

As I understand it they're merely discussing court costs.

ACL have asked to withdraw their administration application re CCFC Ltd, because SISU have already put CCFC Ltd into administration themselves.

The key news from my point of view is that the FA and FL Golden Shares are still held by CCFC Ltd, while the players' contracts have been moved (allegedly illegally) to CCFC (HOLDINGS). 'Fit and proper persons'??

I don't think this court has any jurisdiction regarding anything other than the original administration application.

This isn't the end, but it's the beginning of the end.

That's always what today would be about. The allegedly part is key. Remember Fisher said they had been in talks with the FL before taking actions? I think the FL league need to make a clear statement but suspect SISU have made their position very difficult if they already gave consent to certain moves being made.

Does the golden share held in one company (in admin) mean the solvent football club (not in admin) be docked penalty points?
Why did Fisher indicate or neglect to mention the golden share was still with CCFC Ltd.

IF the golden share is with CCFC Ltd then that admin company could be purchased from administrators by anyone thus having 'hold' over the football club surely? What control over this do SISU have by placing it in admin themselves and avoiding ACL from appointing their administrators?

25 points and we are in the relegation places.
We need to win the last few games to make sure we stay up if the worse happens.
Could it get any worse ?

ARVO/SISU's power is they can stop CCFC coming out of admin with a CVA (necessary to avoid further penalty points)

Fisher has inflicted enough humiliation on this club for a lifetime. He should walk regardless of the outcome.

What would be the point of that?

Does anyone think sisu are trying to screw the club up. Realised its a lost cause and now getting some payback for the hate over the years by doing things the wrong way to see the club get punished and possibly relegated???

He should have walked when Auntie Joy bitch-slapped him all around Mayfair when he agreed the deal with ACL; only to have to climb down and renege, which gave rise to this whole pantomime. He won't though. He wants another train-set to play with after this one's crashed, so needs to tow the party line

Why would he have entered discussions without the authority to sign a new deal? Pathetic cowardice.

I agree that the minority go with the flow view. Even at Pompey, the PUSB singing far noisier than the anti-SISU chanting IMO.
As for others comments about SISU possibly trying to stitch us up...I'd think it would be more a case of getting themselves the best possible outcome whether that be keeping or selling the club.

No, because Torchy told me they were '...our saviours...' and they have sky blue blood running through their veins. They wouldn't do anything to harm us....

As long as its the beginning of the end for SISU. Coventry City are not going to come out of this very well at all and no-one outside of Cov and Warks will really care. I can see a scenario where points deductions now and next season will mean a further 2 years at least in League One but I'd take that to be rid of these vermin if it meant new ownership from the rumoured awaiting investors. Make no mistake if SISU remain in charge it will be perpetual failure and eventual liquidation for the club.

What makes you think investors will want us with a points penalty next year ? I wish I had your confidence ASHDOWN1

Will make a profit is a bit hopeful.
May make a profit/break even is probably more accurate.
...but even that depends on us reducing our major overhead ie player's wages, and we all know we are stuck with some awful contracts ie Bells !

Because not all investors will demand an immediate turnaround, prudent and honest patrons will see that actually with some compromise all round and a more realistic wage structure we are very close to breaking even already !

Problem is that I see ACL and Higgs selling their shares etc but the Council I just do nt think they ll sell their interest for a realistic price. They want to screw the football club / arena for every possible penny and thats what the prospective buyers will have a problem with.Buying a League 1 club with a points reduction next season makes little sense unless you get everything with it. I hope you re right.

I don't think ACL or the council do want to screw the club. This hard learned experience will ensure now that they will be prepared to offer the same fair deals if not better than they have recently offered to SISU and as long as the Investors treat them in a fair and reasonable way with CCFC as the primary beneficiary will be more open to deals on the Arena itself.

Invest a little in this strong squad, clear out the high earners. Negotiate a monthly payment towards the mortgage.
Buy out ACL.
Don't have 5 managers in one season treat your fans with respect and you could get in 20k average.

'They want to screw the football club / arena for every possible penny...'

Why do you think they gave the go ahead for the stadium in the first place?

Why did they restructure the Yorkshire Bank mortgage?

Why would they want to 'screw the football club'?

Any prospective buyer who buys both 50% shares in ACL will have a 43? year lease on the arena, which IIRC the council have mentioned possibly extending to 100 years...perfectly normal and buyer has a nice asset ie the leasehold.
To buy the freehold, ccfc would need someone far richer than PH4...the stadium cost over £100m to build

They are just working out if they too are going to have to wait 13 months for their legal fees from SISU ?!
