Marosi was great until that horrific injury. Never came back the same

That's what happens when you've got an elite coaching staff.

Brave call. Like most, I've wanted Wilson back in ever since Dovin was injured.

To do it on the last game, I was surprised and unsure, with everything riding on it. Took brass balls, both Lampard and Wilson.

The golden glove winner, keeping another clean sheet.

"He doesn't distribute the ball well".... He could kick the ball to f*cking Mars (it's not his strength but I don't think it's as bad as people make out) on every kick if he keeps a clean sheet.

He's magic, you knowwwww

Wilson made it clear in interviews that he's not been fit and has been training through pain.

Not as fit as the ITK's made out...

As Sideways Sammy pointed out in his Boro review, kind of bizarre that this news wouldn't have been leaked to take some of the pressure off Collins. Also bizarre that the ITKs were swearing blind that WIlson was fit and ready to go.

Fair play to him, made some good saves.

Ironically, his one lapse led directly to our second goal

If you rewatch it back, bidders absolutely clatters him, red card offence from him

Wilson made it very clear yesterday he's been in pain.

You can be ready but also not fully fit. He's clearly not been fully fit.

He is hardly going to come out and say 'Know what I backed the wrong horse and it's cost us 8 points because the blokes shit' is he?

Collins was picked to keep our playing out from the back style in place

When his mistakes outweighed the benefits, it couldn't be done anymore

And thank fuck, We have a decent chance now we have a semi competent keeper

And Wilson was lying as well?

The simpler explanation is that your intel was wrong - it's OK, it happens

I absolutely loved when he came out sweeping up for the ball through to Conway shortly after Bidwell made a lax pass leading to a counter.

His starting position and anticipation was first class, and then his clearance led to the chance where BTA hits the post. Wilson was simply superb yesterday.

100 % he was, even Lampard said he’s been knocking the door for weeks saying he’s ready, was watching him in training to make sure,

No reason to doubt you but its been touted from several other sources as well.
But it is what it is and it all came good in the end.

Frank was on to a winner playing Wilson.
If he'd have stuck with Collins and he made an error that cost us a playoff place he’d quite rightly have been slaughtered for sticking with him.
If Wilson had made a mistake Frank could have said “I tried them both, it’s all I’ve got to work with”
As it turned out Wilson was superb, the issue is over, he’s the man from now on.
