He scored in that kit in my first game (Cambridge).

I think Kit@ was some weird sub division of Puma, a couple of teams had them around the time then switched to Puma same as we did.

I think my main issue with the actual in house kits is that I didn't live in Coventry growing up and if I wore one people just thought it was a market knock off

first two were ok really. didn't mind the Ajax away and that yellow and blue one we had for a bit either

The infamous ‘Tesco bag’ kit of 2005-06!

I had all these kits, home and away from 2000 onwards so there’s a nostalgia factor for me! The tips on their own I really like, personally.

He also scored the first live Coventry goal I saw, against Charlton.

Possibly the second, too.

Ray Woods for me, for some bizarre reason. I think it's one of the least memorable seasons for me from that time.

Gallagher played in it, too, but I always think of him in the Peugeot kit.

Whilst I like retro inspired kits I do wonder if there I'll be any kits from recent years that will be future classics in themselves?

Love a lot of these Hummel shirts but possibly only 2 main kits have been are genuinely 'new' by my reckoning.

New
Borderline
Remake

2019-20
Home - based on 87-89
Away - Same (but waspish!)
Third - new idea and a bit of a classic

2020-21
Home - based on 92-94
Away - based on 1892-1898
Third - unique city of culture design
Special - nice idea with the city skyline

2021-22
Home - new design but not a classic
Away - pink template of the previous seasons shirt, quite liked iit but was a weird choice
Third - tramlines and Ska again
Ricoh return shirt - unique but boring

2022-23
Home- 70s tramline remake
Away - 95-96 remake
Third - cathedral kit a classic for me

2023-24
Home - similar to the 2000-01 kit but enough new elements
Away - 96-97 remake
Third - another 87-88 template

2024-25
Home - simple but smart
Away - similar idea to 97-98 away
Third - nice new design
