I'm sure we've all got stories. Read on and you will see what I am talking about.

Reason for the thread now was that yesterday I threw some slices of cooked ham down on the floor for the dog. She usually gobbles them straight up, but this time she just sniffed them, gave them a lick and then wandered off.

I therefore picked up the ham and wrapped it in tissue and put it on the kitchen counter for her to eat later.

Asked my missus this morning if the dog eventually ate it all, as the slices were no longer there and she said no, that she had had them herself in a sandwich for breakfast.

I just haven't got the heart to tell her.

    Similar tales anyone?

When me and my brother were in our late teens and both living at home I did something to piss him off. Don’t recall what but what I do remember is his revenge. He waited for me to make my sandwiches for work the next day and go to bed, he then took my sandwiches out the fridge opened them up and let the dog lick the butter off before putting them back together, back in my sandwich box and back in the fridge. The first I knew about it was when I got home from work and he asked me if I enjoyed my sandwiches before confessing what he’d done. Wanker.

A few years ago, I had washed and rinsed my dog's plastic food bowl and left it to drain overnight. I came down in the morning to find my horrible, teenage step-daughter happily eating her cornflakes out of the said bowl. If it had been anyone else, I would have said something, but seeing as we pretty much hated each other, it gave me great inner satisfaction! Even when my missus came down, she didn't say anything either! I suppose because I had washed it, she assumed it was okay! There's just something lovely in silent gloating!

She didn't notice the word 'Fido' on the side of the bowl then?
