Like many of us I've always felt like The Ricoh was never really our 'home' as it lacked the atmosphere of Highfield Rd etc.

But I tell you what all this *********************** about moving aint arf made me love The Ricoh and I cant wait to get back there. I just hope it'll be watching Cov play at home.

Take me home to the Ricoh - it's where we belong - bizarre eh !?!?!

Could be Stockholm syndrome although having said that I haven't started having positive thoughts about SISU and they've held our club hostage for a long time.

I've always loved the Ricoh, just wished the product on the pitch which meant we would go near to filling it, and have atmospheres like the Preston, Blackburn, Wolves matches

I have always liked it and was proud of it shame about atmosphere but that would come with a couple of promotions or just something to shout about lets hope we can put all this shit behind us and become a football club again................

OK, I'll confess. I've never really 'loved' the Ricoh, and I doubt I ever will. But I sure as hell prefer it to Northampton*

*Or the Seppala-Fisher Brandon/Ryton/TreacleTown Megabowl (actual capacity, 8000), should it ever come to that. ;)

I was speaking to a Preston fan recently who told me that the atmosphere at the JPT game was the best he had ever experienced at this level - and to think there were only 12K there. I'm not the Ricoh's biggest fan, but there have been enough occasions where the place has genuinely rocked to make me feel that one day it will feel like home.

I still haven't fallen in love with the place but to state the bleeding obvious the current animosity to the Northampton is more to do with taking us out out of Coventry and 30+ miles away from the city, as opposed to specifically leaving the Ricoh.

I always thought the Ricoh was a great stadium and the lack of atmosphere was down to having nothing to cheer about, rather than because of the stadium itself. Is it too big for us? Well, it is now. But would it be too big for us if we were in the Premiership? No. Sure, we wouldn't fill it every week but there'd be plenty of games where we'd get close.

The problem is not the stadium, the problem is simply our league position. So what's the answer? Move to a tiny stadium 30 miles away or put some effort into getting us back to where we belong in the top flight? I know what I'd do.....

Nope I haven't and I shall explain why, Highfield Road.

That should be enough.

I still hate the place, crap modern stadium and in a far worse location than others like leicester and derby. But that's completely irrelevant to what's going on now (for one thing any fantasy sisu-bowl would almost certainly be even worse, plus the station seems to be finally happening, unless this bollocks has put that in doubt as well?)

Me too. What's not to love about the Ricoh? The trap people keep falling into is that of the product on the pitch.

It's an underachieving team that has caused the soulless feel about the place and is nowt to do with the stadium.

I love the Ricoh Arena, much better than Highfield road although of course I have happy memories of HR .

Yes maybe the options of pubs nearby is less but RA is a top stadium. It lacks atmosphere purely because the fans aren't singing/making noise for lot of different reasons.

Crazy not to be playing there. I wont be going to any other SISU instigated ground.
