Yes, we seemed to play this against Peterborough although not really with wide men in the second half as Fleck and OBrien sat in a bit rather than hugging the touchline.
1st half was 4-4-2. but the middle 4 played very very deep
2nd half all of the midfield + haynes got closer to the strikers, and were also making forward runs, this meant the strikers did not need to drop so deep, and were able to collect and chase the ball in more advanced positions - this is what turned the game
We lined up as a traditional back 4, thats about it.... All the malarky over formations in the past couple of weeks is a load of rubbish. Basically we got our leader back, which led to an improvement in effort and confidence.
