Firstly G, he has not yet agreed to work for them; Secondly, I would be delighted if he did agree as I believe that he is able to deliver a promotion chasing season PROVIDED that your beloved Sisu fully back him....Can't see that being the case however.

He's been working for them for the last 3 months. These blinkered, subjective views are tiring. I'd be the first to criticise the owners if something went wrong. But people are getting hysterical because it's taking a bit of time, where, it seems, Mowbray is actually calling the shots.

TM is giving Sisu an insight into how and what the club needs to compete,, no plasters covering cracks or quick fix's.. Foundations, with the right people in the right areas doing the job they were hired to do..
The delay could be anything,, but i have a feeling its about getting out of the contract other than in.. The only reason i say it is with him asking for assurances, he may want to walk without being held by a massive compo fee paid, if things are not given..
Would not be shocked at a year rolling contract....
I have always said, sisu or more precise their investors are the owners of our club as they are a number of other ventures, they sisu that is, have people running this business for them Tim Fisher and Steve Waggott, and doing that badly. I have a feeling Joy Sepalla got some home truths from her meetings with TM, there's been two apparently, about the state of things here, especially football wise. I am hoping JS is sold on Tony Mowbray and his ideas and charged SW & TF with securing his services, or else. Which gives TM a bit of strength at the negotiating table. It is obvious TM wants total control on the football side of things from replacing the disbanded scouting system, youth recruitment getting his own youth develoment people in youth coaches, to his right hand men at first team level, to what players leave and join and i doubt he will give an inch on any of that. That seriously puts Steve Waggott's nose out of joint imo.

I suppose the truth is Joy has been sold these lines by quite a few City managers before TM and spent a lot of { other peoples } money buying into their sales pitch, she must be fairly sceptical. I'd guess the plans minimise or make obsolete the role of Mr Waggot too ? They've had a few days to iron things out now but I guess as long as something is firmed up before the end of the month it doesn't matter.
He was probably in the North east this weekend to watch the Boro, who he is a fan of being a local boy, play and win in the Champiosnhip play offs, so I presume he will be down next week to sign up.
