Hi everyone, been a while since posting

Having kept one eye on the cov results been noticing a turn around.

Whats the reasoning behind it do you reckon? hearing talk of a possible takeover! Sounds promising.

The results have been decent last few games but also so have the performances. There's no way this can be classed as a turnaround yet though, not till (if it happens) we get out and stay out of the relegation zone!

As for takeover talk, it is pretty much just that currently. Many people are hoping it's true as long as it's the right deal. Fingers, toes, everything crossed, but this is Cov and we definitely get more disappointments than successes!

We beat 2 teams we needed to beat to even stay in the race.

The second half against Bristol City was very good, and we comfortably beat Brighton...however, a poor run in November to Boxing Day means that even two good results leaves us in the mire...and still 7 points from safety...only 1 less than we were before the Bristol City game.

You had 2 good results before an untimely visit to upton park. Do you think that the rumours of a new takeover have got to the players? Seem more energetic and hungry to me. Maybe they think they're playing for their futures...

Takeover Summary: if you wish and wish and wish as hard as you can for something to happen, sometimes, just maybe, it will. That's about all that seems to be going on. So on with the protests!

No.
Its been the same as at the start, we perform fairly well and at times dominate but we have had no luck and struggled to find goals.
Just against bristol and brighton respectively we found luck.

We have been unlucky this season (Leicester, home, West Ham, home, Blues, away, Peterbrough, away, Palace, away, Blackpool, home, Burnley, home, Doncaster, away, Pompey, away) where approx 19 points have been lost...on the other hand, we got lucky (arguably) against - Derby, home, Boro, away, Leeds, away, Bristol City, home.

To me, we are (net) around 15 points down.

Is it luck or individual offensive/defensive errors...I don't know, but we have played well enough as a team to have gained more points...but I suppose that's where the manager needs to instil concentration and structure into the team.

Or i may just be talking bollocks!

Forget the lost point's, need to show play-off form for remainder of season to have a chance of survival, Bristol won again tonight so more or less in same position now as we we're before xmas. Thank god for those wins over xmas otherwise we would really be in the brown sticky stuff, we are still touching cloth at the moment............

Sorry, but I have an updated table on my wall...and according to that (based on AT's 'unlucky' games...see above)...we are on 38 points and on the edge of the play-offs.

Yeah still in the same position.

Only trouble is though another 3 games have gone and we have even less games left now to make up the difference.

next 3 games agaisnt topromotion chasing teams, derby, mboro and blackpool

we need 2 wins really.if we get them then we will be turning the corner

I think that Derby and Middlesbrough are slightly overrated...and we could get points off them...maybe 4, probably 2...Blackpool will be a tough one.

The big game is after that...Ipswich at home...that is a must win.
