Bring in to play the compass catering deal, they won't be happy, Ricoh, £10 mill sponsorship to hear the grounds name.. Er never again.. This is the plan.. It's all fallen beautifully for SISU...
i cannot see any other way that ccfc can ever play at the ricoh again unless ACL backs down and gives sisu what they want .
that means at least 50% share of the ricoh with full matchday revenues , What will happen to the ricoh ,will acl back down , can acl survive without CCFC ,and please dont say 4 concerts a year can balance their books ,not possible surely .
infact if ccfc doesnt go back to the ricoh can aCL even survive .
All points in the direction that acl have been beaten here when they clearly didnt expect to lose ,as with all of us i think they underestimated SISUs weird obsession with losing money .
Thoughts guys
i thought this ,but they have gone the whole hog here in making sure ACL payed for trying to shaft them legally , i think they will now do whatever they can to finish ACL offSurely this isn't the outcome sisu wanted. They won't want to be running up anymore debt buying land and building a new ground. Will acl consider selling the ricoh to susul as a better option than nobody using it.?
as some sort of NEC type arena yes ,maybe get a roof on it and host inddor shows like xfactor or something who knows , its a bleak short term future for ACL as much as it is for ccfcor, ACL set about using the venue and the RICOH arena becomes an excellent conference and entertainmnet venue..I am sure they would be happy with being linked with that...
do acl own the casino , and the olympics have been and goneWell lets look at this carefully. Sisu currently have a football club in administration, with no fans, no home, transfer embargo, £70m debt and rising fast and another relegation looking likely.
Acl have a loan to repay at favourable rates, an Olympic ground, an exhibition hall, a casino and a hotel.
Sisu have won nothing.
When was that?Oh you forgot, the Casino are likely to pull-out,
at least that's what they've said.

Don't underestimate the amount of business that already goes through the stadium. I was there at the weekend for the Corporate Games and it was heaving. Big snooker event also there later in the year and there's lots of other non-public events that take place there as well. Sure loss of ffooty income will cause a problem but only needs a few other big events to make up the loss.
If ACL give up on getting us back to the Ricoh and do something else with the stadium then we're really buggered if The TF White Elephant stadium doesn't happen. What's the plan then?
Do you think sisu will now take then to court - fisher implied in in his statement. Will compass have a case to sue for loss of earnings? No one will pay the £400,000 rent will they? Any idea who on earth would do that?

You really are the moron of the forum aren't you ?
It is simple really . 10k fans for 23 games at £20 (average cost) = £4600000.
Take away the revised rent offer and it leaves £4200000.
Even if they got 3000 fans at NTFC next season it only equals £1380000. Take away rent at NTFC etc and we are fecked.
As a poster said earlier it's a "Clusterfeck"
They have got to sell a lot of fecking pies to make the shortfall up . Even if they build a new stadium the fan base will be so eroded by then that the income will be less than last season.
The figures don't even include cup games which have the potential to get a 32000 crowd.(Proven last season in a tin pot cup)
The comparison is between Sisu and ACL. The points you make about Sisu apply to ACL too. Not only that but they're facing an abysmal 26p in the pound settlement. Unless they've had a great year they'll be making a loss.

Which is what SISU are gambling on. SISU seem to be able to con people into throwing more money into this black hole but ACL don't have such a luxury.
Yep. Last weeks csr won't have helped and if the judicial review finds in Sisu's favour it'll be curtains possibly.

SISU have had to place a 1million bond with the FL as an assurity that they will bring Coventry back into or around the city within 3 yearsIf ACL give up on getting us back to the Ricoh and do something else with the stadium then we're really buggered if The TF White Elephant stadium doesn't happen. What really concerns me is that we would be totally stuffed (more than we are now) if ACL really didn't need the rent from the club and told SISU to do one. Assuming hypothetically that Compass and the Casino are dealt with ACL could say it's too late for any deals. SISU could take them to court but on what grounds? If they still want to argue that the council loan was very naughty then that's not going to help with the groundshare at Northampton, where they're also getting a loan from their council I understand. So what happens to our club if this takes place?

Agree 100%. Financially fishers reasons/motives don't really add up, unless as I mentioned in another post, they plan to be in this for years and years (not the usual behaviour of a hedge fund)
If you think back PKH said that SISU are going to open Pandora's box this is it and for another 16 clubs in the league who have had some help financially from local government
