4 promotions in 10 years, average of around 2,000 for home games and now just one division short of the Conference.

Also now moving to a new stadium.

Not bad going that is it.

I've heard that in 4 years time Coventry City will be looking to groundshare with them.

Would guess so. If it's Conference North.

Be good for Nuneaton to be playing 'Manchester United.'

Hate the name FC United though. Could they not have called themselves Manchester Rovers or at least Manchester something.

Playing Benfica tonight in a friendly at FC United's brand new stadium. Half funded by the fans and a club that is owned by the fans.

The very best of luck to them. A club where fan ownership is clearly working at the mo.

Nice to see stories like this.

I stay well clear of single clubs.

Tend to be full of desperate, fat and ugly losers.

They were started up by disillusioned Man U fans fed up with the current owners, so what happens if the current owners sell up ? Would these fans abandon FC ?
...perhaps SISU might be sniffing for a new stadium.

Not quite true my friend....FC United have a higher % of massive twats.....I've been to a couple of their games....they have managed to take their originally surly arrogance of being man utd. fans & added an extra layer of smugness due to the rise of FC united.....and they also have developed a wannabee hoolie element.....

pound for pound, you won't find many sets of fans with such a high twat ratio....

Not sure I agree with this. There is a video blogger on YouTuber who films their support home and away and they seem very respectful of their opposition. When they played Benfica the other night they gave massive appreciation to their players and the supporters who had travelled.

So you are arguing against someone who has been to see them play while you are basing your post on a FC United fan putting videos up on Youtube?

I will see for myself when I go and watch next season. I have heard nothing but positives from everyone I know who has gone.
