There appears to be nothing new apart from block paving, which would soon be messed up by chewing gum !

Why are they seemingly hell bent on pedestrianising everywhere?

...yet taking away a pedestrian access to the canal basin!

The ring road might look rubbish, but it does mean traffic moves around the city reasonably well. Seems we want to keep it looking rubbish, but add in elements to slow it down!
