Yeah I’d still prefer You Suffer. Or maybe something by One Direction.

Not my fault you read it that way. Probably says more about your mind than mine.

Just wondering where the kids are that do as they're told..

They're manipulative little bleeders at the best of times.

What's wrong with getting them singing assembly bangers every morning? Bit of "he's got the whole world in his hands".

If you have to impose loyalty to the country onto children, something's gone wrong somewhere. It's quite enough that we teach them 'British values' as though we're somehow superior to everyone else in the world

Can do that without forcing people to sing about a god most British people don't believe in and a monarch not everyone wants to be in power.

I don't particularly agree with that either. I'd prefer it if children weren't taught that there definitively is or is not a god, likewise teaching values such as democracy as 'British' as though other countries don't also share them.

If a British school, in a British City, teaching British values is so offensive, maybe you should leave BEFORE Reform get in in 4 years time?

Go to America, where even pre Trump, all the curriculum in School covers is American geography and history. Nothing much outside of their own country!

Or maybe try a Muslim country where most aren't even schooled, just taught that the Muslim faith is far superior to any other make-believe faith in the world?

As a county, we're by FAR one of the most accommodating and accepting in the world. However, far too many people now are taking g advantage of that. Time we manned up a bit as a nation and pushed back! Its time we took the Polish stance!

If an English flag, being flown on a lamppost in an English city, offends someone, then the flag is NOT the problem! They are!

Give Me Joy In My Heart (Sing Hosanna!) was a banger as well.

Used to love it when the infants at the front would fuck up and sing 'Sing hosanna to the King (of kings)' with the extra words at the end when you weren't supposed to.

Used to laugh hard at those pricks.

Why must everyone look like either a c**t or a pussy marcher?

I can only assume that most of the moderates sit and argue on the internet all day and can't actually be bothered either way and leave it to the extremists? You could see almost any random photo of someone and say of they're one side, the other or can't be arsed.

In fairness, im only regurgitating your sentiment of leaving if Reform get in. Im pretty confident they will, so im saving you the next 4 years sat waiting! In a country you clearly hate so much?
I mean, how dare a British school teach British values? Despicable behaviour!

Oh bore off, I care a lot about the country and think them getting in would send it down the shitter. You think it'll be a land of milk and honey, hopefully you're right.

It isnt just the Royal Family that draws crowds/tourism, but its the pomp and ceremony and traditions that only survive because of the royal family. The guards at the palace and the tower draw huge numbers of attraction. The Edinburgh Military Tattoo draws around £77m a year for the local economy and growing bigger and bigger year on year. Traditions set as standard from following the royal family and the traditions that includes.

Yes, tourist might still go to Buckingham Palace, even if it wasnt lived in by a serving King or Queen. Yes, theyd still come to London. But there are a LOT of people from outside the UK that are fascinated by the Royal family and what it is and stands for. Like Shakespeare is a huge draw for crowds to visit Stratford, the Royal family is a huge draw to London/The UK aswell. Would people still visit Stratford? Probably. Would there be nearly as many? Definitely not!

Hundreds of people line the streets every day to watch the changing of the guard. All tourists, all feeding the local economy. The changing of the guard only happens because of the Royal family and the traditions around it.

To people outside of the UK, the UK is black cabs, red phone boxes, soldiers in red tunics and bear skins, and the Royal family.

Even in Australia, when a Royal household member tours, people line the streets 5 or 6 deep, just to say the seen William and Kate, or The Queen etc.
