The Telegraph Editor...

"Yes, it's something you don't know... and I reckon it's the biggest story since we left Highfield Road. "

"It'll be worth the wait, I promise."

i honestly can not see them selling one extra copy of the paper based on this story

does anyone actually have a copy of the paper, or has everyone read it online ?

well, just seen the front page of the telegarph...

"I CAN SAVE THE SKY BLUES" says Hoffman.

What a pile of sh1t.

Surely the paper realises that we are all in a bit of a state about the club at the moment, and they go crazy on a non story.

Very annoyed, glad I dont buy the thing !

I have bought the telegraph about five times in my life and two of those was to get a free subway voucher. Why bother when I can just check the site every day.

and in seriousness, I would write to them and ask for your money back under the sales of goods act.

After everything that has happened since Highfield Rd, how on earth can "i might be able to find some people who might be able to buy the club" be the biggest story !!

Dont let them get away with that pal.

In what way is this the 'biggest' story since City left Highfield Road? Are all CET staff Leicester fans and are currently wetting themselves laughing?

Just hope tomorrow the CT has the decency to print an apology to all City fans for getting their hopes up, that there really was some news and instead printed a complete non-story - Gary Hoffman is looking for investors - what a shock. It is the equivalent of an internet forum troll claiming to have spoken to a players aunties dog walker except they have defrauded people into spending money by claiming something really amazing when all it is is a rehash of comments off here and other forums and a couple of lines from Hoffman himself - "yes I am looking for investors and actually phoned someone up yesterday for a chat about it". CT should be ashamed of itself. Still guess it reflects just how desperate we all are for some good news about our beloved club that we get tricked into thinking that for once maybe this piss poor excuse of a paper actually has some news - WRONG!

Not a chance. They took a hammering on Twitter and on every CCFC forum, but they are still being defensive. A couple of their recent tweets:

"Former vice-chairman in talks to buy club and Ricoh Arena? I hardly think we lose credibility because we report that."
"Everyone is entitled to their opinion - that is just ours..."
"Understood - but admin isn't for us to announce and this is the first sniff of a new owner in many moons."

Shameless. Total bunker mentality.

Total rubbish, I could save the club if I had a billion to spend. Can and Have, are two totally different things
