CWR just put out from today's interview he expects to be in the role till January.
He didn't sound like he was off to me on Sunday.

The longer he stays the longer the the remaining fans will see the owners and MV do not give a shit about the club itself. MV should never be able to carry on in any capacity within this club once he is replaced. But i bet to pound of shit he is there going to meetings regarding potential sales of training facilities and players, claiming he knows best and is doing it in the best interest of the club...

The best interests of the club is he leaves and takes TF with him, the owners then need to go as well, knowing they have made many mistakes and have royally screwed every fan who has walked into any ground to follow the team.

Ffs. No doubt he will be in thr role until the 31st Jan so he can bring in some more useless footballers and leave us fucked for the run in. We need a manager sorted so he can assess the squad before the window.

unless somethings happening or planned to happen in Jan (be it good or bad) and to bring a new manager in would create further problems.

Further problems!!! i think what we have now tells us how much trouble we are in, im really not sure how much more fans can take. MV should stand down of his own accord not be ask or even pushed, he should walk and ask TM where the next job is.

Treading water while somebody else agonises over what to do...""The plan is to keep going I think whilst we still re-evalute."" - that could mean tonight or it could mean in May. Nobody involved seems to have any clue when it comes to communication (or in terms of much else, to be fair).

I felt we needed a clear statement from the club saying that due to our poor run of results and in some cases performance, MV's interim reign will be ended earlier than foreseen and the recruitment process for a replacement brought forward. But no.

Complete Inertia.
That's what dropped the Villa out of the Prem.
It's become a habit over the last two or three years, started around later player recruitment, obviously spreading across the whole club

Is that all that was said? There's a big difference between they're starting the recruitment process and will have someone coming in during Jan and not having even considered getting someone in.

There may have been more afterwards.
But the gist was he expects to stay in the role till January.

No surprise really, the owners have shown no intention and made zero steps towards the appointing of a manager since mowbray resigned.I doubt they have even looked through applications of people who expressed an interest months ago.

If MV was any sort of man he would have walked away and fucked off and forced the owners hands into appointing a manager.

I'd be amazed if they have even looked at a single CV yet. All the noises and reading between the lines since mowbray resigned I think the writing was on the wall for this.

The only sliver of hope I can grasp onto is that there reluctance to appoint a manager, coinciding with there latest failure in court then perhaps just maybe they might be packing their bags and leaving soon.

Yes. All those weeks of tedious CT headlines over the summer like "Mowbray happy to play waiting game on new signings", "Venus relaxed as transfer target list takes shape" etc etc, meanwhile the other teams went around hoovering up the best available talent, leaving TM to cobble together a patchwork outfit of sub-standard loans, has-beens, kids and misfits at the last minute, all the time leaving budget unspent.

Yes because he was aiming for bloody championship defenders!!! Not surprising they can get better wages elsewhere really is it?? Or do you expect us to compete financially with mid table championship clubs

I don't think he was going after realistic targets if Championship clubs were after them.

This was 50% of the reason why I didn't buy a season ticket. The other half was the cost (increase). Make season tickets come off sale a week before the transfer window closes, whulst blowing bubbles of 'we're bringing in more players but biding our time to get the best ones'. Fans commited, SISU, TM & MV didn't.

I know something was up and in the end opted not to get a season ticket. Low and behold, the squad is shittier than ever, and now we're in the relegation zone. Unfortunately from an entirely selfish point of view, it was a really good decision from me not to get one.

Imho, fucking well overdue for TF & MV to go, what the fuck are you waiting for ?
What a totally disastrous & pathetic attempt @ running a business.
Imho, Seppala should without doubt, join them, since 2007 she has employed 'not fit for purpose' people to run the club;
Come on FA / FL do something !!!!!

Bosco; Bradley, Clarke, Dulieu, Tomlinson; Clouting, Brody, Igwe, Labowic; Anderson, Waggott;
that's an unbelievably shit 11,
they should bring that lot back to play for CCFC & put up a team of Ron Harris's to sort 'em, or 1 by 1 put 'em in goal to at, the fans would pay a huge premium to do that.
Go Otium / Sisu / Arvo / Dungbeetles / or whatever you wish to cloak yourselves as;
you will forever be remembered as utter shit !!!

Yes we need 6 or 7 players bringing in BUT its not going to happen we were waiting for players to come in last January so we could push on for a promotion charge... what happens they sell Maddison so we just have to ride this out and hope we survive as a football club never mind stay up

MV will go as soon as TM gets a new job he has always been by his side and will fuck off then,also that would leave the ccfc board another one short.I think the pair have slowed the club down from becoming a non league outfit but that won't be to long away unless we get a proper manager and some decent investment.

I know, which was the point of my post. TM aet his sights too high. The defenders he was after were snapped up by Championship clubs.

How can we not compete financially with league one clubs?

Do many other L1 clubs pay fees for players? no
