I have mentioned this a number of times and it has got poo-pooed, but I believe eventually rugby and football will be played at the Ricoh just as it is at Wycombe and has at a number of other grounds, QPR and Watford being two. When this Ricoh wrangle gets sorted and it will, the stadium needs to be used and bringing in an established premier rugby team may well happen, don't rule out Saracens.

Coventry Sarecens has a bit of a ring to it don't you think.

Brilliant so the council help to get rid of a football club and then will assist in getting rid of the local rugby club as well by bringing in a franchise club.

Seppala's 'go bust or else' talk not doing much to facilitate matters.

Again you read something and totally get the wrong end of the stick. I don't think for a minute there were any attempt to poach a team away from it's home, Wasps have been nomadic for a while now and in fact Wycombe is a fair way from it's roots which was somewhere in London, Shepherds Bush way I think and Saracens, another London outfit have been searching for a base for a while, don't know if they still are. But remember there is Rugby League too, doesn't have to be union, London Broncos a fairly new outfit are now firmly established as a league outfit.

Wigan Athletic and Wigan Warriors share a stadium, I think, without difficulty. 2 different team owners as well - Whelan for WA and the guy who used to own Harlequins (I think and name escapes me) owns WW.

PKH said at out last open meeting that ACL had been contacted by several sports teams since the news of CCFC moving broke.

Big difference between talking and doing in any case. We do not actually know it wasnt to share the stadium with CCFC. Any sensible business would have a plan B in any case. Doesnt prove anything .

Interesting it came out the same day as the CVA decision though
