What has happened to them?

can't even get in the match day squad now. 2 players with big futures can't get in our squad. one of the many reasons slade needs to go

add to that beavon, jones should both be starting and not in the bench and Clarke needs to be dropped

Yep. He was Lady Bracknell in The Importance of being Ernest, John Maclane in Die Hard, Shirley Valentine in Shirley Valentine and William Wallace in Braveheart.

Need to put him on the lighting or costume department in future.

But as has been said, Stevenson is injured.

And besides that, when Harries was playing weren't we complaining about a lack of physicality in the back four and how he lacked a bit of strength?

Still doing it with Clarke in there and he is painfully slow, I can see why he wasn't getting a game at Bradford but Slade is always full of praise.

There all in the wrong place just like Ryan Haynes no full back wing back or whatever they call that position these days and Jones no right wing he cannot kick with his right foot full stop. Play players in their right roles or not at all as for the Yak rolls why did they ever sign him he has more rolls than me .(unfit 70year old)

I wonder if we've done a Bigi and sold Harries, Willis and Stevenson on deadline day, and Slade just hasn't bothered asking where they are?

We did it with Bigi behind Thorns back, so why not again?

Have they been seen since deadline day?

Yes, stevenson and harries were at the SBiTC holiday camps last week. No sign of willis though...

Clarke was excellent against Gillingham. I've not been much recently due to other commitments so don't know if that performance was just a one off.

I've only seen Harries once this season and thought he looked good.

Realise it's not the biggest sample size though.

Beavon is all but a guaranteed starter now, he just had that minor injury last week. Agree about Jones, he's looked more effective recently so I'd rather see him play than us just throwing some strikers out wide and hoping it works

Bigi is the most baffling one that has fallen off the face of the Earth - unless he's injured and I've missed it. If so, ignore this entire post. Actually, Bigi is the second most baffling, first has to be Stokes. Might there be more to that one? Given that he was previously pretty reliable and he has missed an entire season. Come to think of it, it was also a bit odd that didn't Stokes get injured but then we didn't decide to operate on said injury until weeks later? This could be a case for Mulder and Scully, as Catatonia once said.

Harries played against Wycombe didn't he?

Whilst I agree both are very talented I don't think they are ready to be playing in a team which is well below par in the league, when they were playing we were very lightweight, slade tried to build a backbone and a team of men to stand up and battle, we got old immobile men who were poor footballers.

I think we are in this whole due to players like Harries and Stevenson getting bullied in the first half of the season, not their fault, just not built for what we need right now, or needed 10 games ago.
