And did those feet in ancient time
Walk upon England's mountain green?
And was the holy Lamb of God
On England's pleasant pastures seen?
And did the countenance divine
Shine forth upon our clouded hills?
And was Jerusalem builded here
Among those dark satanic mills?

Bring me my bow of burning gold!
Bring me my arrows of desire!
Bring me my spear! O clouds, unfold!
Bring me my chariot of fire!
I will not cease from mental fight,
Nor shall my sword sleep in my hand,
Till we have built Jerusalem
In England's green and pleasant land.

What's that then? I thought we only celebrated/acknowledged St.Patrick.

It sometimes feels England is lacking in English people.

Traced my family back to Sherwood Forest, 1066.

Think that makes me quite English!!

Traced my family back to Germany and the Czech Republic (A German soldier that was put in a POW Camp in the UK and A Jewish woman that escaped here), but I'm second generation English.

I am proud to be English.

Absolutely true.

But I was adopted at Birth and ended up with an old english family.

Apparently when he was released from the POW Camp after the war he was allowed to remain in the country and met his future wife.

Belgian Lager and Indian food. As weird as it sounds, that is proper english and should be celebrated. I'm having a Chiken Tikka Masala for tea, but might plump for a Carling.

Did you have a full english Brekkie?

Good On You.

La Lucha, theres a book / film there. I would find Steven Spielbergs telephone number if I was you.

As it was my suggestion and a film is made, can i play the part of the local casanova who shags every bird in the district,(as long as we only have good looking one's with plentiful chests) .It might be difficult to fit it into the story as its about the war and the displacement of refugees, but i'm sure between us we could somehow find a place in the script for one somewhere.

As Rachel Weisz is a direct relation, would you like her to play the wife?

Bond might have something to say about that.

Plus I don't think mainstream actors actually do the deed, that's why they call them actors and not porn stars. (Unless it in 9 songs)

La Lucha is Rachel Weisz an actual long lost relative ?
, or did you make that up.

I've asked the wife about how she would feel if i starred in a porn film, and she told me to F**k off and get out.
Now look what you've started, my football team has gone tits up and now i'm homeless, talk about having a bad start to the week

Actual long lost relative. Her grand parents (I think) came over during the holocaust from Hungary and Austria.

Quite enjoyed Broadgate today.

They had a traditonal English folk band playing traditional English folk songs, they had a Punch and Judy, they had strawberries and cream, Morris Men and actors portraying St. George and Shakespeare.

Shame there wasn't many people there.

I ended up having 4 pints of Carling in the Lady.

Although some patriotic soul did put Swing Low on the jukebox.
