I'm staying in the city centre. Not seen a flag flying or anything related to St George's Day. And I've been on this street for 4 weeks and not seen a single person come out to clap on a Thursday night.
Bet where I usually live in Bell Green, you can be sure that you'd see flags flying and people clapping !

I must admit I do like the idea of them all being bank holidays and we each celebrate each others. Drink on paddies day, haggis neeps and tatties on St. Andrews, cheese on toast for David’s day. Bring us all a bit closer together.
