I'd like to be the first to wish you both a Happy Christmas.

While you're both opening you presents, by the fireside, with the family on Christmas morning.

I would like you both to take a little time to reflect on others, especially the good citizens of Coventry who no longer have their football club to support in the local vicinity. I'd also like you to realise that the vast majority of these wonderful Coventry people aren't as dim as you think and weren't taken in by your fantasy stadium.

In this time of good cheer to all men (and the lovely women of Coventry) I ask you both to do the right thing, bring our football club back to Coventry, sell up for a nominal amount to whomever would like to take the challenge on, say sorry to the City of Coventry and it's fantastic supporters and move on.

If you don't do this you're financial situation will only get worse, the vast majority of supporters will never go over to Northampton, the gates will continue to be disappointingly (from your perspective) low, year after year after year. You will never make serious money from Coventry City FC or the Citizens of Coventry, so think about that.

Anyways have a Happy Christmas Joy & Tim

mates - of course they read it (or at least their people do) - and for gods sake - you either want cov back in cov- or just come back on here to be a keyboard warrior

Every single thread that expresses the hurt of us being in northampton is valid- and once these dry up, then the fight and heart of the supporters is on the wane

You forgot to thank Tim for "masterminding" our relegation.

If you're going to be over dramatic, at least be consistent?

Overdramatic?

Is it now considered extreme to expect Coventry to play in Coventry?

Well they know who some of us are, they read these sites every day but don't really give a fuck for Cov supporters.
They know about things that are going to happen like the so called boxing day demonstrations?

I agree. We should all be thanking them for looking after our club and looking after us fans. We all know that they have our best interests at heart. Just a shame they don't have one and don't give a sh1t about us. They don't give a sh1t about our club. Money on the other hand is their god. And Joy is a Christian. She prays to her bank balance.

Let's all sing together, play up Sky Blues,
While we sing together we will never lose (not true, cos sometimes we do lose.)
Tottenham or Chelsea, United or anyone,
They shan't defeat us (Err, yes they will)
We'll fight till the game is won (err, no we won't)

AND???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Some people are over paranoid. Do you not think its likely from the number of Police Officers who work within Coventry and Warwickshire that some of them may well have an interest in football, and support a team, and that it may be Coventry.

I didnt realise that being in the Police meant you couldn't support a football team. I have two old mates from school in the Mids who are passionate Cov fans. I must tell them that they cant go anymore as Sky Blue Kid is paranoid.

Police Officers don't have interests in football.

They don't do anything other than eat doughnuts, shag other officers' wives when the other officers' are on night shift and stop people in their small, little hatchbacks for no reason, when on that person is on their way home at 11.05 p.m., on the Radford Road, after visiting relatives to drop off presents, saying your tail light is out when it's not out at all and that you were speeding when you were in fact only going 29.655 miles per hour and that you looked a bit dodgy when you in fact look like a totally honest and decent person, though slightly tubby round the midrift.

Or so I'm told.

And if you want to be super pedantic - the song as it was when I started supporting the City:

Let's all sing together, play up Sky Blues,
While we sing together we will never lose,
Proud, Posh or Cobblers, the Oysters or anyone,
They shan't defeat us,
We'll fight till the game is won.

And wouldn't you know it, we're right back where we started when I first supported the team - so shouldn't we be singing the original again? Especially as our owners are showing through their actions that they have no ambition to get us back to the Championship, never mind the Premiership

And just to be pedantic, this song was stolen from Liverpool fans, who first sang it. Hence the rare accent?

Rare accent? Ours is rarer than theirs. They sound exactly the same as Everton fans.

Joy and Tim, I hope that you both have a really miserable Christmas and a financially challenging new year. You, and you alone have taken my football team away from it's roots and that is unforgivable.
