Ahead of Thompson for me but not sure about Maddison. Brilliant player though.

Thought he was starting to go off the boil a bit a few games ago but 4 assists in 2 games... Immense.

When he's on his game, his anticipation, vision and awareness to make plays or break up plays is truly remarkable. Would be nice for him to chip in a few more goals, but we really need to tie him down long term.

His brain is quicker than any player on the pitch and has the technique to pull off the picture he’s already seen. Can bounce little one twos in tight areas, switch it, carry it, he’s got it all including heart and fight. Love the little chode.

That was his best game for us. Looked like a top player from first to last.
Consistency required until the end of the season....

Agree with most of the above. He needs to add consistency to his game and stopped getting yellows and then he’s premier league all day. Great performance last night.

Not sure hes our best player since the PL but he's certainly quality.

If he was more consistent he'd be immense. But he is great.

Hard to imagine one or two thinking he's not all that.

Love watching Hamer, definitely has great vision which sometimes he doesn't pull off, but much better to watch than a safety first square ball merchant. Just hope he can avoid 5 more bookings as a 3 game ban would prove a big loss to us.

In respect of Eustace & Hignett comparisons are both pointless and ridiculous. Eustace played for us in the PL and but for injury could have had a big career with us, while Hignett joined us for a very short spell at the end of his career but had been a decent PL player before that. All decent pros and deserve an element of respect.
