Why do we care? We're not trying to defend him like yourself. Why do you care enough to keep defending him?

When he was with us he could play for 90 minutes. How many times did he manage 90 minutes last season? Still a great player but with a bit more dedication with his fitness he could have gone all the way.

I'm not having a dig at him. It can't be easy to not do the things you enjoy right through your younger years. I had two sports I was very good at but didn't have the dedication. Preferred to get pissed and stoned instead of serious training.

Look at the clip of Hamer scoring his first goal at the CBS v Peterborough that time, he's at least a stone and a half lighter than he looks now
