Apparently attacked in the staff car park after their game against Chesterfield. Sustained serious injuries.

Suggestions are that is was a Chesterfield player, that Hope had a tussle with during the match.

It sounds like it was all on CCTV and it also reads like it wasn't just a little dig either. No doubt the other player will be named
shortly.

Doubt he'll be named (officially) as I suspect it will be subject to a criminal investigation.

I suspect anyone that watched the game will know, as allegedly there was issues between Hope and another player from the other team during the game. I suspect if there is a criminal investigation that player will then get suspended, so even if it isn't officially released anywhere, a good old look at the team sheet next week will probably reveal all!
