Any chance Nick can set up a sub forum for all the 'Glass Half Empty' folk out there, so they can go and whinge without dampening the spirits of the dangerously critical level of optimistic/deluded fans left? Haha, dont mind the odd bit of domm and gloom discussion, but hate reading negative assertive comments:

'We're going to get relegated'
'5-0 loss this weekend'

HAVE SOME FAITH!

Rant Over

I'm a half-full. Always try to be optimistic in everything.

I just think we will suffer through injuries. My one concern on the pitch that our squad isn't big or strong enough. Besides that I am happy with Thorn, happy with the youngsters coming through and still think we have some good players here (Juke, Cranie, Turner, Hussey, Clingan).

Certainly not cutting my throat and declaring relegation after just two games!

Possibly think that being half-cut will be the only way to enjoy the season.

Probably why not enjoyed it nearly as much at The Ricoh, as generally stone-cold sober there, whereas generally pissed as a twat at Highfield Road which made the whole thing seem far more fun through beer goggles.

I still, even after 2 losses (1 being inexcusable!!) think we will be okay as soon as the lads start hitting the net. Surely we can't go on creating chances and not taking them?

I rate juke but i don't see him as a natural goalscorer, hits the woodwork to many times, i mean he hit the bar from 1 yard at bury ha ha.

something will happen to the good i am sure, just wait until premier league squads are announced, then maybe....just maybe, we will get 1/2 loanees in.

I agree. The fond memories were definately helped by a few beers in town, far gosford street and in the ground before the games....Don't remember many second halves unfortunately. At least i could watch the highlights on match of the day the same night !!

Could probably do with a full loanee to be honest, though half a one probably still better than a full one of some of our players.

Can I suggest 3 forums:

Glass half empty - 70% of posts will go there
Glass half full - 10% will go there
Suicide watch - 20% of fans to be monitored here.

I think the problem with most fans is the way the club is going, i have followed the club for 33 years and can never remember feeling like we are just drifting aimlessly to disater. No direction no real leadership and ultimately the owners being found out to be lying 90% of the time, that for me is why most are half empty.

I am not being negative just realistic, our present squad is not good enough to compete in the league at present. If we get injuries through the season we do not have a decent bench to bring on anyone who can turn a game, we have strikers that cannot score, we have no money, we have a dodgy board that wont let us go and will sink the club.......No we have nothing to be negative about.

I think the point is not that we've got nothing to be negative about, but it doesn't have to be all the time...
