He wasn't on crutches, or in a boot and was happily posing for a few pics with some kids. When asked when he was back he said 2 weeks. Whether that means 2 weeks back on the grass or actually 2 weeks and he will be considered for selection I don't know but he looked to be walking pretty normally. I think he will be back before Christmas.

Kane did have a spate of ankle injuries quite a while back, but AFAIK they haven't been a problem for a few years now. I think his current injury is his hamstring?I hope I'm wrong, Haji Wright is a big fellow and once you start having injuries to your ankles it can keep reoccurring.

Personally I would need to see a lot more from EMC before we decide to move our best player out of his best position just to accommodate him.If Wright was fully fit right now then you'd have to try him down the middle with EMC on the left I think. Might nullify Wright too much but has to be worth a go

Wrights an extremely powerful attacker, I think he'll relish the balls we're getting into the box atm, including from EMC.They were right at the beginning of his time here weren’t they? I personally think he was still settling in.
He has played down the middle a few times late on in games under Robins and looked good.
I just think we’re getting a bit overexcited off the back of EMC’s first good 90 minutes. It’s not a knock on him, and it’s not his fault he plays in the same position as Wright, but so far Wright has outperformed him and they can’t both play there. Maybe we end up having our cake and eating it, but there IS evidence that Wright can be less effective down the middle - we’ve all seen it - and if the experiment doesn’t work then I wouldn’t hesitate to drop EMC if it means getting full value from Haji.I don't know why you ignored the words directly after that tbh.

I guess we'll see. From Lampards point of view he's had 4 games and in those 4, EMC has 3 goals and 1 assist.
