I really hope we see a huge step in the development of Bassette, up front next to Simms, or EMA getting to grips with the league on the left. Hopefully at least some positive will come out of this.

I would like to see this Simms/Bassette combo.

Just don't know if we have the players to accommodate that other than a standard 442. EMC left, Saka right. Sheaf and Eccles central.

Without Haji

Bassette and simms have hardly played,Asante and wright have been allowed to build something, but we’ll 100% miss wright, lost 2 options, forward and off the left

I’d give EMC a run

BTA is pretty poor to be honest

it’s not really a potent strike force is it though, but it’s cost an arm and a leg

What we've been using recently appears to be serving well, but with some personnell change: -

Dovin
MVE - Lats - Thomas - Binks - Rudoni
Sheaf - Eccles
Torp/Sakamoto
Simms - Bassette

I'm hoping the new manager wants to play a 4 back anyway, time for EMC to justify the price tag

Surely the likes of Bidwell and Allen should be fit by now or at least close to being

It may hurry the decision over the managerial position, defo signing a midfielder I'd say, as for strikers it may get everyone relaxed and scoring,if they're feeling the heat of playing with Haji!

Dovin
MvE Thomas Kitching Binks
Sheaf Rudoni
Saka Torp EMC
Simms

Is what I’m hoping the new guy plays.

I'm told they're targeting Swansea away 1 Feb to be back in the squad

It's actually unbelievable how often we've lost a key player for a significant length of time over the years

Agree, except that my wife, EMMA, is crap at football, so may need to rethink that bit.

Same.. think I'd be very tempted by a 442 at this rate, or some new fangled version of it. Get those 2 up front, EMC and Saka down the wings.

The problem with that is you end up with a very weak sauce central midfield. You solve one problem then create another. And right now it’s Rhys Carr trying to come up with the answer.

I don't know, sit Sheaf and Eccles a bit deeper and have them hit the forwards and wings a bit quicker whilst also being in position to protect the defence. I'm no master tactician but i feel like it could work with what we have.

Sheaf and Eccles can’t play all of every game until January. And Sheaf himself has been shite since his return.
