Helpful insight. He’s moved more in that 1 minute than in 2 play off games
I'm sure I read he was playing with an Injury?Imagine if he had that much effort for at least 1 of the play-off semi games.

Very different physical demands given his injuryHe can't play football but can jump up and down and twist on a basketball court
Yea, nasty chip on his shoulder.I'm sure I read he was playing with an Injury?
I think he probably was but I'm not sure if it's really been acknowledged. We know that the USMNT camp said he arrived injured, which is proof enough.I'm sure I read he was playing with an Injury?
2bf - if he’d had just gotten that free header on target which he should have his effort would have completely been forgottenLikely the tendinitis was an issue. But that doesn’t excuse the “effort” - the 2nd leg in particular he was a disgrace.
Well FL didn't think he was a disgrace otherwise Haji wouldn't have played the full game including extra time. We had unused subs in Simms and Paterson, the latter could have come on with BTA playing the central role.Likely the tendinitis was an issue. But that doesn’t excuse the “effort” - the 2nd leg in particular he was a disgrace.
Doesn't look like anyone was off. Haji was punching the ground in frustration afterwards but it was never a free header, he had to move and then time it, which he didn't quite get right. That's the thing when you only get one chance.1. He’s clearly behind two defenders in that photo a moment after the ball is released. It’s hard to see how he could have been offside.
2. The game restarted with a goal kick not a free kick so there was no sign of the officials thinking it was offside
3. There was no VAR until the final.
Aye. Watching Godden effortlessly smash a golf ball 300 yards down the middle was a bit galling.Always strikes me as deeply unfair when professional athletes turn out to be good at more than one sport.
He was 100% onside.OK, didn't realise there was no VAR but offside covers any part of the body, not just feet, so Haji's head or shoulder looks the furthest forward on that shot to me.
You'd have hated the likes of Alan Hansen and Phil Neville then ! Both extremely gifted at other sports.Always strikes me as deeply unfair when professional athletes turn out to be good at more than one sport.
