Who would you rather have Gunnar or Norwood for the next 8 games both in form.

Norwood without a shadow of a doubt. Such a good range of passing, gets himself in goalscoring oppertunities and his mental attitude has been fantastic. You can tell he's schooled with Man Utd because of his composure and he can hold the ball up and release it so well - especially noticable in this league.

Gunnar just never had the mental strength with us I found - threw strops when he wasn't playing well.

Norwood. Gunnarson was too big headed for my liking. Norwood seems to be the type who does his talking on the pitch.

I would have norwood, bigi, clingan and thomas over gunnar.
Last year he was poor if I'm honest!

Also norwood has far more passion for the club!

On current form, for the last few games of the season... has to be Olly 'two in two' Norwood. We need goals and he is looking like he can chip in with a couple more on the run in, all being well. We need someone with the confidence to try to pass the ball in more directions than square (it was Clingan, who excelled in that quarterback role not so very long ago, lest we forget). However, Gunnarsson we saw in his first season at the Club? I might take him over two Norwoods. The two seasons which followed were not the greatest and we knew he was capable of more. But does that mean, right now and all things being equal, that I would take Bigi, Clingan or Thomas over him as others might? No, he's had a decent season, the Cardiff fans are happy with his contribution. Could have turned out better at our place, had potential which he never lived up to, but seemed to hold the Club in high esteem whilst here. I don't begrudge him a thing; we're a selling Club and he needed a change for his career before it further declined here.

On current form Gunnars, he is very influential in the Cardiff team.

Difficult one.

Both very good but in different ways. I'd rather watch Norwood play any day - and he's more likely to score and assist.

Norwood I guess.

Norwood is twice the player Gunnarson ever was. That's not sour grapes as he moved on but Norwood is pure quality.

Norwood all day long. Has scored more goals in 2 games than Gunnar managed in a season!

Gunnarsson has been top drawer from what I've seen of him this season. Seems to be playing without any inhibitions and looks all the better for it.

so much for those who say we lost our best players. Seems overwhelming that Norwood gets the vote ahead of Gunnarson easily by a long chalk.
I know Norwood was not here back then but a young Loanee way ahead in pecking order than our best player we sold Gunnarson?

I agree of course...just saying we are not where we are because we lost Gunnarson, Westwood (who can't get a game) or King - though we do miss his goals.

Im sorry Pax what a load of tosh !!!!
Off course we are in this position because we lost westy, King and Gunnar and they were not replaced. Norwood has only been here two minutes.

Only King can be termed a loss and considering he has not been prolific at Brum I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Play Sheff as a striker and his ratio would be as good in my opinion.
Westwood was good for us but I hardly see the difference from him to Murphy who has some outstanding games for us.
Gunarson people may recall had one good season and never looked like producing that form again. he was on the bench plenty of times without objection from anyone here and deservedly. Average player who has purple patches but as the poll indicates Norwood even at this stage of his career is way ahead of him in value. hell I'd rather have Deagan in than Gunnarson.
