States that they must get rid of one striker so that they could buy him, we were interested previously? And I thought he was a stand-out performer for Iceland through the world cup.

What would you think?

Wasnt he a winger? Either way he did get alot of rave reviews so it would be good if we could go back for him, however if hes that good once again i believe we'll miss out!!

I watched there first game I think it was against Belarus and he looked very dangerous on the break.His main asset for me was his speed, and my god he was quick so that alone with other abilities would say he's worth a go.The thing we all must remember is that he's young and playing in an average side against the world beaters that are Belarus U21.
What i saw i would say take him on trail,say 6 months with a view to a permanent signing if he's decent,i would'nt commit money now.

No he doesnt mean not a rumour like its a done deal, he means its just a 'what do you think'

I think it would be good! Wonder if he's on Thorny's radar still.

Neither really, seriously this is like the mot loosely linked thread to Coventry ever. AZ are in for a striker but they must sell another striker before we buy so they decide to sell a winger instead which happens to be gudmundson and we could be in for him because we were interested in the past.

It's not a rumour.

I didn't say were interested? I said AZ are looking to get rid of a striker, and we were interested in Gudmundson in past transfer windows. So I asked what would people think? The link shows they are trying to get rid of a striker, and thorn was the initial person to scout him.

Read between the lines.

Would be a very good signing but he'd probably cost between 1 and 2 million, and you have to consider that we do play a wingerless formation.
