New poster here, so go easy some of you....
Saw this article and wondered whether it was something fans had an appetite for here.

We potentially have the best manager we've had here in a long time, and whilst we are still waiting eagerly for more players to come in, there seems to be a confidence amongst most that Mr Mowbray will operate far more shrewdly in the transfer market than we have done in recent years.
I'm sure none of us want him to become disillusioned at an early stage in his tenure with us, and we know central funds are limited, so do people think this is something that would work and is worth considering?

Nice idea but I think if 100k came in they would just take 100k out, they have said the playing budget is blah and if they can get a few quid off the fans towards it will be delighted.

Why would anyone chip into something like this?
I personally feel I contribute enough to the club buying a ST the odd bit of tat from the club.

There's always been crowdfunding. It's called buying a ticket or season ticket. If not enough fans do it then we won't have much money, if lots of fans do it we will have lot of money.

Actually here's an idea if people were genuinely interested in doing this as I'm sure my critiscm of an idea like this will get shot down why don't the club put ST at a minimum of say £249 for an adult like they were but if someone wants to pay £400 for one they can? How many people would pay more than the asking price? 0? 1?20? 100?1000?

Can't see Waggott increaseing Mowbray's player budget one jot to be honest even if a few extra quid came our way from any Callum Wilson transfer that's why TM is being cautious I still think he will splash out on a striker though

It's a good idea in theory, but even though Sisu have made small improvements there is still absolutely no chance of me trusting them with anything more than my ticket and beer money. And I don't really trust them with that, but I get a ticket and some beer out of that so I can't really lose.
